I have a massage gun used on me by the physio. It is a professional grade one from the US which is very very powerful but the results are fantastic. I hope you are successful.

Tried out the massage gun last night. My partner really enjoyed the body massage it gave. I was hesitant to try some areas and some of the attachments as I’ve read it can be quite uncomfortable some places, especially on bone etc. Luckily my partner isn’t too boney and she said it felt nice and was comfortable all over.
We also tried it on a low setting on the vulva and clitoris and there wasn’t any pain. My partner actually really enjoyed it a lot, more than a magic wand, but ultimately didn’t orgasm from it. She’s so used to and prefers the pinpoint precision of the womanizer or suction toys now that I think she struggles with anything that vibrates the area.
For the relatively small amount of money I spent on it, I’m more than happy with having it as tool we can both use for massage and a touch of foreplay, even if it’s not the main event when it comes to sex.
You can bet I’ll also be buying a dildo attachment for it soon though

As far as I can tell there are several main types: pneumatic; vibration; and a combination of the two. I bought one from Renpho (C3 model) which is pneumatic. Very powerful and great for deep tissue massage and great value at £80. No complaints with battery life and comes with its own carry case with multiple attachment heads (none of which are phalic).
Personally I couldn’t see how anyone would be able to place this on their bits and pieces as they would be turned into bits and pieces. As for getting a dildo attachment, I could see that working very well @Blonde_Bunny but the length of stroke is relatively short and might be underwhelming (depending on your choice of size 
).
I imagine that the other vibration types may be more like the hot rod version of a magic wand but you don’t get that from the pure pneumatic massage guns.

@Blonde_Bunny hi sorry for the time take on response to massage guns. We have purchased one for 40 pounds it has 8 attachments and has a battery life of aroind 90 mins on full charge. With 40 power settings as a muscle massager we both recomend it However I have not taken the plunge to use on my more intimate parts but i can say when used on my bum and inner thighs i can feel the vibrstions reaching those parts. Hope this is of help let us know if you get one
