Adding Photo Gallery Links (or My Reviews)

Following on from a question from @Oldman in the Any Other Sex Workers topic:

I’ve had a bit of a play around, and it seems that it’s possible to link to your photo summary. It only works per topic, so I’m afraid there’s no way of grouping all of your photos in one link, but it can still give a nice gallery link or two.

Here’s our helpful volunteer @wildflower’s lingerie one:

To make your own for the Lingerie topic simply swop out the username at the end for your own.

And to do it for another topic (eg. Nails, Shoes, or The Toybox) just copy the main topic address, and add this to the end:

?username_filters=your_username

Here are some others you can copy and paste: Just add your username to the end (eg. Ian_Chimp).

You can then pop the completed link into your forum profile so other users can have a shortcut to your collections. If you put it in the main blurb you can hyperlink it to something like:

[My Lingerie Photos](https://lovehoneyforum.com/t/lingerie-photo-uploads/257652?username_filters=wildflower)

So it will display as: My Lingerie Photos

Which makes it a bit easier to see what the link is (especially if you have a few ).

I can see it, and it works. I’m counting that as a roaring success.

It’s not quite far up enough to show in your mini-profile pop-out though. There may be some scope to add a special box for it (depending on how much Brenna likes the idea ). I suppose we’ll have to see how popular it is.

Just an FYI, the old review profiles are dead links now, so you can take them out if you want.

I did a practice for my photos in the nails thread and it worked for that too so def a success!
(I deleted it though until I’ve added more photos… Felt like there wasn’t enough to warrant a link )

I’ve been having a bit of a play with the formatting in the profile blurb, but I haven’t figured out a good one yet. (I’ll keep twiddling)

I’ve changed the OP to suggest the link in your profile could be ‘My Lingerie Photos’ to make it sound more friendly. Obviously what people actually call their links is player’s choice.

I’ve been having a fiddle. Here’s an alternative way to display a few of them in your profile, and get them to show up in the user card. (these ones are @Cupc8kes)

Had to fiddle with it a smidge as You have to take the extra brackets out to get it to work if you paste it, but it looks cracking

Hmmm. I can’t seem to stop it hyperlinking the text in blue, so it’s nesting a couple together when you copy/paste.

Any tips @Peitho? (or anyone else )

Yes, that was helpful but I can’t seem to get mine all on a line of their own without all my other info running straight off from it. I’ve tried leaving a space between the top line and the rest but it’s still not looking as neat as your example.
Bearing in mind I need these things explained in the most simple of terms!

A <br> tag will force a break in.

(And there’s a bit more info about that in the Tips Topic)

And you can use the pipe symbol | or something like a , to separate each link if you think they’re starting to flow together too much.

I think having them in the usercard seems to be the easiest way for other people to stumble across them, as it makes them a bit more visible (though I’m still hoping we can get a special box added ).
