Hi I have a selection of plugs, as I now consider myself less of a novice, but by no means an expert. Just on a safety note, with reference to the metal jewelled plug, I had one and thought it was pretty amazing, it felt great, and I really enjoyed the feel of the cold metal, but a word of warning, the jewelled end isn't very big, and I lost mine inside whilst walking upstairs once in my house, luckily I had some ribbon tied around the end and so recovery was no problem, but just be aware it can happen. So when I shop for plugs etc I always look for a large flared end, which cannot possibly get lost!!!! But I love anal play, and have to say I am now a bit sizest, and prefer more girth than length.

If you think about it logically your bum is designed to expel things, not to have them inserted. So unless there is a sufficient 'shoulder' to prevent your toy being pushed out, then that is what is going happen. Likewise, in the event of your toy travelling up too far, nature will take its course and sooner or later your toy will end up in the bottom of your lav pan.
