Beautiful bush appreciation

Oooo think I might have to try that too MissM22 :)

I don't really feel the need to be totally bare (if I ever find a partner, I am likely to take his preference into consideration, though), "despite" the fact I am definitely a girl who loves to feel clean and who often takes three showers a day (some people say those who don't go bald hardly feel any appreciation for hygiene but I seriously doubt it), I shave some hair off (using Gillette Venus Olay) and trim the rest. I have been considering getting the Swan shaving kit for some time, it looks nice and it can be used both for shaving and trimming.

Don't mind either depending on my mood but OH is shaved mostly.

Miss m I usually wax ...painful.. Can the veet spray on be used inside the lips on those pubes too? Always thought I couldnt apply there.
Cheers lust x

Sorry hun, I missed this post. Yes I use it everywhere. I have had some painful incidents but the veet sensitive spray is the best I've found. Definitely do a test patch first though x

Thank you for your bush appreciation, Steve! I have a hard time with shawing down there too - my skin is too sensitive for the razor, it reacts really bad each time I do it, so I just trim myself every once in a while. And I'm happy my OH doesn't mind and kind of likes it :)

+1, glad someone can stand up and say the bush is GOOD, not something to desperately get rid of.

I can't shave/wax/hair removal cream down there as it kills my over sensitive skin, and frankly a bit of hair is more attractive than a massive mess of irritated skin. I trim and tweeze a little into a neat little triangle, I find it perfect as no stubble, no irritated skin but also no hair sticking out of panties or impact on if OH wants to go down there (ie no smell or loose hair).

I hate that the need to shave in order to be considered properly sexy or clean is pushed around so much these days, some of us just can't yet we are just as hygenic and fun in bed. I know some women prefer it, but I also know a hell of a lot of women who have been made to feel bad about themselves if they do not do it.

I wish more people would be positive about the idea of a woman keeping some of/all her natural hair instead of treating it like it is something disgusting, it is supposed to be there after all! :p

I can see the appeal of running your hands through her bush, but that's where it stops, I'm still an always bald person for her part.

I think it also has a lot to do with fashion too.
When I was in my teens it was all about the Brazilian and now it's all about being bald. Fashion comes full circle so I expect in the near future that unshaven will be more popular again.

I couldn't be unshaven if I wanted to because a long time ago I took a course in epilation which is permanent hair removal and now I have a little patch that'll never grow back!

It's all about comfort in the end and there's nothing wrong with either way :)

Nope, I hate pubic hair and am waging a permanent war against mine. I've had some laser treatments in the past, so don't have too much going on down there anyway (although wish I could afford another set of treatments!), and just wax the rest away.

And I think it works both ways- I appreciate a guy who trims/shaves and keeps it all tidy. Nothing worse then getting a face full of pubes when trying to administer oral sex!

Hubby and I both keep fully shaved - neither of us 'do' pubic hair so to speak. Also if you're having/giving a nice intimate massage it makes everything glide nicely down there :)

hair free is the only way to be for me and my wife , love the feeling and how it looks , also better for oral ......neither have had pubes for about 15 years or more ......couldn't imagine even enjoying goin down on a hairy bush ....ultimate turn off !!!!!

Nothing worng with a bit of bush :)

Agreed. Really glad to know there are still a few of us around. I'm one of those women. The forums used to be a way for me to keep myself interested in sex while I was recovering from surgery and illness, but things have changed so much anything more than a look in to see if there's a thread about kegel balls usually leaves me feeling like I'll never measure up ever again. I thought maybe one titled "Beautiful Bush Appreciation" would be better, but look at how many of the posts are against natural hair and look at the language used - ultimate turn off, nothing worse. Imagine the outrage if someone posted that sort of thing about BDSM.

The rest of you have plenty of places to express your feelings about pubic hair and tips on how to get rid of it. Can't you leave us this single thread in appreciation of something different?

What I've seen from womens mags and trends, is that pubes are in again, although it doesn't seem to be the case here.

Personally I don't mind, and in the winter I'm all for pubic hair. Even when it's been a full bush none of my partners have had an issue going down on me (even when ecstorting). Actually when escorting I had men come to me because I would wax or shave all the time, as they wanted a woman with pubic hair, as it made the experience feel more natural to them. So many escorts have what I would class as designer vulva and pubic hair.

It've also found that pubic hair can add to sensations during sex for both partners. Although like stated above, my favourite bonus is how it keeps everything warmer.

When it comes to men, again I prefer pubic hair as it can rub on the clitoris. Although when havign domming clients (which involves no sex), it will depend on what the session holds. If I plan a full on needle session or something which means I need to see more flesh, then I'd ask subs to remove their pubic hair. Those who don't and are into masochism, I can always think of inventive ways on how to use their pubic hair for torture.

I also find that if you wash everyday it's not too hard to keep clean if I'm honest, the notion of it being classed as dirty is more of a media moral panic and marketing thing, where they are trying to get women to buy products and go with fashion trends.

I like the aesthetics but when up close and personal I prefer there to be no hair where my tongue would be.

So a well kept pubic mound is all good for me.

I've shaved since I was about 13, I think it's ingrained in me from sneaking a look at porn and thinking that's what I was supposed to look like. I still shave but I have a fuzzy landing strip. My OH likes this, but tbh if he didn't I'd probably shave it off for him. I have to admit, I hate how many women (myself included) can't stand natural fuz because at the end of that day that's what it is, natural!!

I trim my wife's pussy in to various designs or fully shaved, really turns me on. I think she has the perfect pussy.I trim myself at the same time

My partner asked me to let it grow naturally so I did. I was living in America and over there they have kind of a rule of shaving down there. I personally did that without thinking. Then I came to England to be with my partner and now I epilate my whole body just not there. He loves it :) I am much more comfortable too.

I stopped shaving when I developed a chronic illness. I only have so much energy to do stuff, and shaving didn't make the cut. Husband refuses to remove any of his body hair, so out of fairness, he also doesn't demand that I remove any of mine.

I personally like pubic hair. I find completely bald genitals a bit of a turn-off. Too pre-pubescent looking for my taste. Though I do admit that the few times I have shaved it felt nice, so I can see the appeal.
