Complete newbie seeks advice!

Hi there - better start with a disclaimer by saying this isn't meant as a pick up. Hopefully that'll keep the modders at bay.

I have recently gotten out of a year & a half long relationship, which ended rather horribly if I'm honest. It's left me rather jaded with my view on relationships and the like. As a result, I'm not really want to have another girlfriend anytime soon.

Thing is, now I am single, I really want to start sexually experimenting. Maybe it's an age/confidence thing, but I'm so much more open to trying things now. This girlfriend, and my previous, were not very adventurous, so I've felt a bit of time running out and frustration for a while now.

I really haven't got a clue where to start looking for this stuff. I'm perfectly confident, good looking etc but figured my sex was going to stay vanilla so didn't bother looking - any ideas? The idea of escorts/prostitutes does not appeal, my ego dictates that the person wants me, not my cash haha

If your new to the whole "lets liven up the sex life game" why don't you start it as a solo thing. Get a couple basic sex toys and see what your comfortable doing on your own before you go ahead a dive in with someone who's been doing it for years and being over welmed by it. That what i would do in your situation anyway :) x

there is plenty of toys on lovehoney to choose from if u want to experiment u dont need someone to experiment with. i think all u need if u want to do solo is abunch of different type of toys and some time alone. if udo end up with someone weather it would be a partner or a sex buddy make sure u feel comfy and trust them enough to tell them wat u like and dont like and even discuss or compromise.it would only be akward for u if they end up doing something u dont like or u doing something they dont like.

I agree with ShyButCurious, start solo :) There's alot of stuff to have a look at on the site, and the reviews are really helpful, as RasKlot said :) And don't forget, there's always the year returns policy if you decide something isn't for you :)
