Over the past year I’ve started using dating sites and not trusting what I read about on them and just started trying them. I’ve talked to alot of woman over many different sites and the biggest thing I noticed was how many fake profile pictures and fake pics that are sent to you thinking that is who you are talking to. I gave up on that and going just for hooking up with someone right away. I know there are costs for looking there . Then going to sites that said they are free and some of them are. Trying to find the best one is the hardest. When you find one and start talking and really thinking your getting somewhere then private pics pop up requiring you to purchase gift to unlock pictures that seem to be the requirement for you to meet this person all i wanted to know is on average the cost for gifts to meet this person. Not just one site but the average over a few of them . Even the ones that require you to purchase coins or credits because on these sites if you only have so many credits then start to run out of them or run out then your out of luck . Is there an average minimum to hookup with someone.
I am just glad I met my wife 45 years ago, you went to the pub / club spoke to ladies and spoke / found a partner. I am sure dating was a lot easier. Today with sites etc seems easy but know idea who you are communicating with and so many fake profiles people say. People say this is progress but I doubt it.
Sadly in the age of virtual reality that we are in, companies know how to milk people for cash and use things to hook you in… wish I could say paying for dating apps is worth it but really it’s no better than the free version, just with added perks… it still don’t guarantee you any luck in finding a suited match and ultimately besides all the hidden costs your then swamped with fake/scam profiles what will try everything to convince you into emotional manipulation…
It truly is a minefield so tread carefully.
