done the 'drilldo' - wasn't a massive hit, but was part of the learning process so - worthwhile to a degree......
like the idea of the chair, let us know how he gets on with that one!!

i'd say about 50% of mine and Masters toys are DIY or pervertables.
Great ideas! I imagine that there's a certain excitement to the art of fashioning kinky things out of everyday objects, like an X-rated MacGyver.

hog tie set: lare O ring and 4 double ended trigger clips
spredder bar: broom pole, rope, shiny tape (yet to test ourt)
I've just realised that I have similar items to hand which I could readily adapt to perform these functions. Dare I?
yes, go for it 100% both these toys were really easy to make and indeed the is a certain fun to making your own toys. they dont always look the swankyest but its cheep and you can make them to measure. i would be more than happy to give you the blue prints to my spredder bar.
have seen some instructions on IC for how to make a cattel prod type toy from an electric fly swat and an EU plug that i would love to try. :D
if you perfect the homemade zapper let me know RD - i bought a fly swat for just that and zapped myself before converting it, jumped up in the air infront of JJ who decided on teh spot that it wasn't going anywhere near her in future! actually must try it again as i recall reading that you can lower the output by lowering the voltage - taking 1 battery out and replacing with something like silver foil.
last time we went to Ikea we had a game in the kitchen section of the 'market' to see how many pervertibles we could think of....skys the limit.

Meh, go for it. It's all forums, basically. It's just Facebook for kinksters, nothing scary at all!
Last play party I was at, a guy had made a Fucksaw -- a giant jelly dildo attached to a reciprocating saw. It. was. TERRIFYING.

well i have the fly swat but your rigjt about them being bloody painfull!!! as for a trip to ikea for pervertables i cant wait.
shelly..there's a fine line between a bit of homemade fun and pure unadulterated stupidity....saw an article on the web a while back where a Fuckzall hadn't gone to plan .....doesnt bear thinking about!
RD..ought to start a competition, take a piccie and suggest alternative useage......if the bosses at Kiea or elsewhere catch on the prices will go up......was looking the other day at some clover clamps as used in sail making....needless to say the vanilla product was a tad cheaper for the same!
if you're both on Fet i'm there under the same name...
it's amazing what you can do with gaffa/insulation tape :D old backpacksand sholder bags allso have a surpizing amount of D-loops and other usefull BDSM bits and pieces :D

I might do that, then! I guess my "role" on the sign-up page would be "vanilla", as I don't think I can claim any other at the moment. Will that make people laugh?

Thanks -- but I have just successfully constructed one. I found everything that I needed in my junk room: a discarded curtain rail, two small pieces of wood, a few screws, some lengths of velcro (for the 'cuffs) and strips of soft material (to guard against chaffing). The whole venture took me about 15 minutes -- and it's readily adjustable.
Warning -- the following may be TMI...
I've also made some fake spunk for a naughty joke: 30g of cornflour added to 200ml of boiling water and stirred thoroughly, plus dashes of scented hand cream and liquid soap to mask any flour-y odour. It looks and feels remarkably similar to the real thing, and it's probably better for one's skin!
well done @cuddly hubby.
when you say adjustable do you mean just the cuffs or the whole thing. mine is too long to travel and akward to stor so making it adjustable in length would be really helpfull.
Just the cuffs are adjustable. The bar doesn't reduce in size because it's constructed from a single length of wooden curtain pole and I didn't need it to be collapsible.
Having said that, it would be straightforward to saw the pole in half and then add a hinge and a catch so that the bar can be folded in half for transport or storage (when in use, the catch is secured to stop the bar from folding up suddenly!).
Probably a better solution, though, would be to use two pieces of metal tubing of slightly different diameters, so that one can slide inside each other. With a suitable locking mechanism, this would provide adjustment and collapsibility in one operation.
made yself a pair of suspender toghts from some ordinary black tights. verry easy and new sewing required.
also made some white over knee stockings from tights. cut of waist band sewed to top to hold up.they slip a little but work better than when you tried to turn your old school lights into stockings with bits of elastic :)
mm nice
