For the last year or two I have used the spare pair of kitchen scissors that are in the bathroom to trim them to about 2 or 3 mm.
I won’t shave there as I know it will be to itchy, but I love the cleaner feel there and definitely less matting from the deoderant is evident,

I have done full body shaves a few times. I used to compete in bodybuilding shows and well - it was just something you did. I do keep things clean - I do continue to do chest and arm shaves - I just like the way it looks. I do clean up the pits. I also do keep things clean downstairs - but not a full shave for sure.
Hubby has never shaved his armpits and the only time he’s had shaved pubes was in prep just before his circumcision. Since then he’s always been completely natural.

I have done probably the last 10 years or so. I have a very active life so sweat is a problem even with 2 showers a day and armpit smell actually comes from dried sweat on the hair mostly or so im told. Just a trim every 2-3 weeks along with my beard & body hair.

Many many years ago, I caught a glance at the armpits of a woman I had the hots for so I shaved mine so it will resemble hers. Yeah, weird I know. 
But I naturally have a heavy sweating condition so if I keep hair there,it will highly have a chance to stink because of sweat. So I continued shaving as not to stink.

I just updated elsewhere about my complete pube shave but I also recently removed most of my underarm hair for the first time

I mix it up. Sometimes shaved, bush other times.
