Do women watch porn ?

Wow! I'm shocked at how very rude your friends are.

I don't (ofcourse I have looked at it out of curiosity) and encourage my boyfriend not to as I don't trust the industry. (I dont see whats wrong with sharing your concerns in a relationship.) I would never shame a friend or call her disgusting if she did though, and would probably cry if they did that to me! I hope you're ok! x

I watch it alone as does my husband and sometimes we watch together. I think I watch more than my husband nowdays ! Your'e certainly not alone and I bet some of your friends watch but for some reason are too embarressed to say so .

I'm pretty tough so it didn't really bother me that much. I was just a little surprised when they all said they didn't watch it - thought there was something wrong with me - so glad to hear from you all (guys and girls). As alot of you seem to watch it maybe it's them that's odd............not me :) lol

Minx, I also spend wayyyy too much time on Literotica, lol!

Mind you, any sex is better than no sex, and if I do end up getting lucky, it helps get me in the mood ![](upload://rA41UoqYzU9yrgGiJUyzuRc98GV.gif)

And yes, I watch porn- don't see what is wrong with it, as long as it is tastefully done. Also, much prefer it if both parties enjoy it, as that's what sex is about, mutual pleasure![](upload://h7LJ67OOrR57VDYrj5ZEwwHAfLG.gif)

Loads of women (more than will openly admit to it!) enjoy watching porn, it's definitely not just you! I don't watch loads, but I like a bit now and again

No doesn't interest me I do love my fanfics though  some are very erratic others more romantic.

Yup, I watch it. Had fun shocking my boyfriend (we were both inexperienced virgins when we got together) who had the adolescent view that women never watch it. I guess a lot of porn is 'male-directed' but I don't see the big fuss

We look at it together, masturbate and tell what's turning us on.

I introduced the porn movies to my wife and she didn't mind. Nowadays it's more common that she suggests us looking as a nice foreplay.

My instant reaction was of “course they do.” I mean there will always be a mix of those who do and those who don’t, but as a section of society it would be crazy to say they don’t. There is no shame in it; I think the judgement you got says far more about them than it does you.

This is similar to my mindset these days. I've watched a lot of porn over the years, but in the last year, as I've educated myself more about the porn industry, I've watched it less and less. There are reputable porn companies and porn sites out there, but they aren't free, and I don't like porn enough to pay for it.

Even without my concerns about the way the industry does business, I was starting to lose my interest in porn because so much of the free stuff these days is... aggressive. Aimed exclusively towards degradation, pain and humiliation, with the boundaries being pushed further and further. I was finding it hard to find free porn that didn't turn me off instead of turning me on.

Regarding the OP - What incredibly rude friends you have! If my friends spoke to me like that, I don't think they'd be my friends for much longer.

Anyway they were horrified - all agreed that men do 'that' and not women - a couple actually called me disgusting :(

I'm sorry they said that. You're not disgusting. If anything, I suspect at least a few of them might have been...eh...economical with the truth. Sometimes it takes more than one brave soul to go against the perceived norm before others feel brave enough to do the same.

We watch it. We love it.

I watch it and have no qualms about watching it with my partner. Why not? It can lead to really hot sex...definitely not disgusting for a woman to watch porn, what an antiquated notion!
