To be honest i'm not too bothered as its how it feels that counts, but I do think that I would be unlikely to purchase one of those big ones that looks like a severed torso or something - it's a bit too serial-killer-like if the mother in law found it in a cupboard or something. I wouldn't mind if I could buy it and then hide it somewhere invulnerable but its a bit scary! :D

Ones that look like chilli sauce was the lube of choice shortly before moulding and picture taking.
Fleshlights are somewhere in between, they pussyed out of looking like a pussy and went with a weird plastic pout instead.
Mouths usually look odd and exaggerated.
I prefer the sleek shapes and colours, the white tenga works well. Flesh or neon colours are bad. Plain colours are more likely to be bought as gifts too I imagine.

So long as its fairly abstract I'm ok. If it trys to be 'realistic' then its a bit of a nono. Personally I would like to see a black rubber masturbator - but how you would go about making it squidgy is a bit beyond me. I would prefer blues\violet\purple\red\clear to pink or skin tones.

it's rubber, it's squidgy it's probably ideal for what you described!
