Does anyone go to adult shops anymore

I'd been in a few sex shops, never buying anything sadly, was with an old girlfriend in amsterdam red light district. She wasnt into that kind of stuff just had to take a look, i mean cmon, its the red light discrict! :-)

I wouldnt mind buying anything in a fysical shop, id actually prefer that.

never been in the adult shops near me partly because i'm too scared to mainly because they look run down boarded up un-inviting and seedy i've been in Ann Summers lots of times over the years never bought anything myself many years back when i was a teenager my mum would drag me in there when she wanted a new vibrator

i've always found it easier to buy stuff online because it's cheaper more convenient and there's no embarrassment

I have only ever been in Ann summers but not for along time since we discovered lh. I would like to go to honour purely because they have a larger range of PVC/latex/ fetish clothes for the larger lady. But more to try them on because not sure on the sizing.

Havent been to one in like 5 years . I've applied at 2 and never heard back. I think I am content on buying online . I love love honey!!

Did several years ago, until on one occasion we bumped into a client of my OH's in a shop in Soho. Reportedly the next meeting she had with his firm was very very awkward, as he'd been rather indiscreet about her with his colleagues.

There were once a lot of sex shops around Kings Cross, but very seedy places — seemingly a deterrent to any right-thinking woman. 'Sex workers' were also a prominent feature of the area.

I pass loads on the way to work (manchester northern quarter)

I'm not sure if they are brothels or not, theres usualy a tattoed shaven headed guy stood at the door glaring at passers by.

Used to work for a homeless, drugs and sex work outreach programme and spent an inordinate amount of time in the N. Quarter — particularly around Ancoats and the railway stn. My bands rehearsed on Jersey St. and Olham St. too. Not pleasant places at night. I'd wondered about many of those shops. (Think said chap has been there for years). Fortunately, morbid curiosity never was compelling enough to make me go in.

I've never been in one although id love to. It seems whenever I pass one im with my other half. Although he's been in them he turns white whenever I suggest it. I think its because he's knows id go Oooooooo and ahhhh and hold things up and shout across the shop....have you ever seen anything like this?!?!?

Pity really.

Not anymore! I used to shop in Ann summers in-store and online before I discovered lovehoney and their good value prices and free delivery! They make Ann summers seem like rip off merchants now! X

I've been in Ann Summers a couple of times but more just for the fun of having a look. I'd never buy anything from there because it's a total rip off

Not any more, ventured in a few over the years but not any more.

Very overpriced and they have a certain' 'seedy' stigma attached to them.

I think the shops in Soho are a bit of a novelty now. Nice to visit but lack any real mystique or appeal now. And there's less of them too. I visit Ann Summers with the OH sometimes but that's for the occassional treat or impulse buy. Agree it's nicer to see stuff rather than buy online sometimes.

We went to Pigalle when we were in Paris earlier this year. It's full of some very big sex shops, but you've got to be comfortable walking around in the area at night.

I went to AS two days ago to check out the Lelo products, also they had 20% off on them not long ago... but that's not why I am posting.

A lady in her 50s came in all nervous and shy, her fella had asked her to buy a vibrator to spice up their sex life, she was allowed to choose what she wanted for both of them.

Bless her at their prices she couldn't afford much, she was in her work clothes and no doubt on minimum wage.

I was dying to tell her to go online and check out Lovehoney. :)
