I too was a regular purchaser of top shelf magazines but haven't purchased one for years.
Fiesta was a favourite especially the letters and stories and in particular the readers wives special editions. Much more real and dare I say it, almost accessible
Mayfair was good and the models beautiful and they wore such gorgeous lingerie. They used to use a lot of airbrushing which was a disappointment!

Hi, thought i'd reply to this old thread, the mention of the above mags brought back memories for me. Have bought porn since i was 18 (now 37) ( bloody hell, i must have spent a fortune over the years!), went through different mags, started with Escort, then Fiesta, Club International, but got Mayfair the most (found they had the most beautiful girls in them).
Sadly i haven't bought one in years now, as i now use DVD's, but a part of me feel's that technology is robbing today's young people of the experience of hanging around outside newsagents, waiting for the shop to be quiet so you could dash in, grab ur mag, and get out before someone see's you, or dare i say it , recognise you!External Media. You just don't get that thrill with using t' internet.

I can remember buying my first copy of Club and it was a well orchestrated manouvre which took very careful planning one summer Wednesday morning. I had to make sure the house was empty so there'd be nobody there when I got back, I did it first thing when it was quiet and in a week when I new several people from school were out of town on their summer holidays. I even knew who would be on the till in the shop that morning (Strangely enough I felt more comfortable taking it to the old lady behind the counter than anybody else).
I'd gone in a few days before to check the price so I could take the exact change and I also bought myself a 6 pack of crisps at the same time to draw attention away from the magazine and to ensure I'd automatically get a bag. It all worked perfectly, straight in and back home, up to my room to settle down for a morning of nudey ladies only minutes after I got back home my mum returned from work feeling unwell! Devestating, I had to wait a whole day before I could enjoy it properly.
Totally different these days, you can choose whatever you want in seconds. Teenage boys really are spoilt for choice, though there are also other social issues relating to the ease in which they can access porn - particularly as porn seems to be getting more and more hardcore and as far removed from real life sex/women as possible.
Same here, i alway's preferred to be served by a woman when i was buying porn,or condom's in a chemist, i just felt more comfortable, i wasn't getting some buzz from it, just easier for some reason.
I enjoy hardcore movies sometimes on my own, but also with my OH, we like the british movies more than the USA stuff now for some reason, don't know why though. I like a few movies with Lolly badcock & Cathy Barry in.
i dont really like photos, they dont do much for me or the husband. Mrs M is seriously into erotic fiction, and just got an e-reader. It's the digital equivalent of slipping a respectable dust jacket over something smutty when reading in public!
Admittedly not all stories on there are winners, but thats what you get when the users are writing the stories. If I find a story a turn-on, I'll often check out others by the same author, so that can help.

I'll happily watch or read - my taste when reading is probably a little more discriminating but I get the best results there too.
Have only been on literotica very briefly - gave up on one which was thoroughly uninteresting but really loved another... big mixed bag really. If you want to filter them it might be worth starting a blog or something where you can keep the links to the stuff you like.
All of a sudden im a lot more interested in my new kindle.... :D
