Ohhh canny beat a wee bourbon biscuit, especially when it’s been dunked in the cuppa 
I may have to try this!! Although I do love a digestive if we’re talking about having it with a cuppa 
But if on own then I like fancy foxes to pig out on

Oaty/Hob Nob types are usually the most satisfying with a brew, but I can’t resist a classic Digestive, Bourbon, Ginger, Custard Creme, Cookie or Malted Milk. Once upon a time Wagon Wheels used to be big and proper. And at Christmas I love the Danish butter biscuits with the little creamy swirl.
And now I think I’m just listing off all the biscuits I can think of..
I can’t abide Rich Tea. To me they’re not proper biscuits. they’re like the hard, compressed cardboard many modern games are made from.
Edit: O O Ooo and Caramel Digestives. So bad and so good.

When in Florida we went into the local Walmart for some snacks, i was astounded that you could buy virtually anything there from tyres to guns and bullets along with your groceries, but the biscuit section although huge was nothing but cookies. Luckily for us the nearby Walgreen’s pharmacy had a small “English” section with McVities biscuits, Heinz baked beans, Cadbury’s chocolate and PG Tips teabags! I will add, that to the British palate Hershey’s chocolate tastes of vomit.

Yes our Asda stores were owned by Walmart for a while, then they sold them on. It just amazed me that you could buy guns and huge hunting knives with your weekly groceries!

Regarding Hershey’s…many years before i first visited The U.S. a family friend brought me a Hershey bar back knowing my love of chocolate, i was soooo looking forward to trying it, but thought it had gone off during the transatlantic journey due to the vomit-like aftertaste! It was only when i tried another whilst on my first visit that i discovered that’s how it’s meant to taste! I saw a piece on a tv consumer programme that there’s a certain chemical in U.S. chocolate that gives it that aftertaste. American’s being raised on it are used to it! They did a blind taste test on a London street with U.K., Belgian and U.S. chocolate. No surprise that the Brits and European’s loved Beligian and U.K. chocolate and hated U.S. but the U.S. tourists prefered U.S. chocolate! When in the U.S. i stuck to Mars products rather than Hershey’s!

I’ve been really enjoying viscount biscuits at the moment. Childhood memories and having them in our lunchboxes (before that British you know what had everything unhealthy banned)

We had Club bars in our lunchboxes…when they actually had a thich layer of real chocolate on them! Mind you in those days a Curly Wurly was a foot long, and i am not making it up!

I love any biscuits with milk chocolate on them or in them. But sadly gone are the days when there was a nice thick layer of chocolate, nowadays it’s so thin you can see the biscuit through it!
Have to agree on the revoltingness of Hersheys though. When I tried some it tasted like a mouthful of sick!

We tired that brand while aboard and it wasn’t nice. Then again all non UK sweets or chocolate I didn’t think was great if I’m honest

Cadburys used to be the god of chocolate but its new owners have killed it. Tastes of nothing now.
I see Australia’s fought back and might be getting the old ingredients reinstated! Bloody heroes!

Yeah and American company bought it and reneged on promises to keep production in the UK then started using palm oil in it.
