Well, I wouldn't do it personally for one reason: it might stretch the urethra and then it might be a problem for you to hold it. I had such experience after giving birth - they inserted me a catheter and my urethra has still not fully recovered (more than 2 years after that). There is a chance that I would still pee myself, if I sneeze too hard, for example. Not very pleasant.
Uretha Streching is something which some aim for when sounding and they get sets in which they can move up sizes =)

Most people typically don't insert objects as deep as the PC muscle when sounding, and this is the region that could potentially affect continence if stretched. A good kegel routine can generally strengthen the muscle and restore its full functionality.
I also suggest Fetlife as there are lots of open minded groups that you could discuss this within and hopefully get some advice from someone more experienced in that area... Its not something im interested in but im sure ive done a lot worse hehe
Incendiaire, thank you for the information. My muscle there is much better than it was (I have been using kegel balls, indeed), but it is still not fully recovered. Hope it will be in the future.
