I’ve never tried using custard but it’s definitely something I will. I love the taste of it too so that’s definitely a massive bonus 
One quick question do you have your custard warm or cold?

We’ve tried both. When using tinned or cartons it’s invariably on the colder side, but recently we went a bit mad and bought a catering size sack of powdered custard which needed boiling water to make it.
Obviously we had to let it cool a bit but it was still pleasantly warm when the fun started.
It made up to a frankly overwhelming 60 litres of sloppy yellow fun
