That’s the plan of any man that’s dealing with Phimosis it just takes time going through the NHS to get it done, just a little slower than going private.
Please could you be a bit less blunt about a serious medical situation and think of people’s feelings ?
We are a nice community here who share our deepest inner thoughts with like-minded souls. It isn’t a place for throw away comments like that.
For quick reply. I had my foreskin off last year after a lot of issues with damage/scaring from more sex and problems with herpes being flared up from it
I went via the sexual health clinic who referred me directly to the nhs urology department
I had a checkup and consolation with them who agreed cutting it off would be the best option (I did try steroid creams out for while but frankly they did more harm than good)
Took a couple weeks from that to get a phone call to sort out some pre surgery stuff then I think about 2-3 weeks after that I was in to have it off. Half day in and out appointment that went well enough, recovery was rough and it wish it was slightly neater… but it all works great and overall I’m a lot more happy with it now than I was before with the issues
Ok, so found out today that the operation is scheduled for the 26th of March 25, so about six months from the original GP appointment.
The wait isn’t too bad in reality. Certainly not worth the £3000 it would have cost privately, although there are specialist clinics that are cheaper than a hospital stay, but they only offer local anaesthetic
Glad to hear the ordeal is nearly over for you. £3000 richer too! So which naturist resort are you going to to show off the new and improved Simon_201
Not thought about afterwards yet, it probably will look a bit hideous for quite a few weeks until healing progresses. It also means we will miss out on our monthly swim and stuff for a bit too. At least by June & the better weather I won’t feel as self-conscious.
So, as a prequel we are having a stay at Clover Spa Hotel for the last public ‘outing’ of the old Simon not this weekend but the next one, three days before the op.
