I don't have any rlf to discuss sex with but got another online group of friends that pretty much anything goes
I don't have any friends I could discuss personal things with. I just have acquaintances. I can usually find someone to discuss a new book or a movie with but there is definitely no one I could turn to when I feel the need to talk about being lonely...
I see many of you are actually embarrassed to talk face to face with friends about sex :(

Not necessarily . I think its a case of , well with me any way ( I can't speak for the others) but, what happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom . Perhaps thats a bit of the British stiff upper lip attitiude or the "we do it but won't talk about it" .
I think on a forum like this were everyone is anomnyous defuses the above siutation .
I have 2 friends in RL that I can openly talk about anything with. Even down to the sickest fantisies. And then a group of friends who we openly all talk about genral day to day sex stuff.
You're right though, typical British attitude that everything should be a taboo. XD I spent years in my youth thinking that I was twisted and that something was wrong with me because I have different interests.
To be honest, I'm sure most people want to talk about it and once the first barrier was broken, it wouldn't be even half as embarrising as you think.
I agree with Mysteron, I prefer 2 keep what happens in the bedroom between myself and my oh more because we don't kiss and tell.
On sex forums it is different as everyone is open-minded and they are great for giving or receiving advice. Then there's the cyber friends we make. I cherish alot of friends I've met on here and other sites xxx

I totally agree, why that is I don't know! I chat about sex etc better with guys full stop. I feel less judged! Talk about anything you want, we're all very good listeners and the people here are gems. I've only been here a short few weeks but I've found them insanely funny, great advisers, intense listeners and some down right adorable and I too cherish them. xx

Hello there i have one male and one female. But feel I can talk to anyone on LH however it would be nice if there was a interactive video like Skype as having a discussion on here it a bit like Chinese whispers it all way go's of topic. I hope my one and one helps.

She is a real life friend of 10 years now though despite Skyping, MSN, phone calls and such I've yet to meet her as she lives in Ireland and I'm in Scotland
I just feel really comfortable talking to her about anything no matter what it is. Having a lot in common helps and the fact that she gets really interested to find out the details of say my sex life when I talk about is makes me less awkward in talking. We've also had the same loss within the last 5 years so I guess her being there for me and me for her also strengthens the friendship, or at least for me it feels like it.

I only talk to my wife about my naughtiest ideas couldn't talk to my real life friends. It all seems so much easier on a forum than face to face with my friends....anyway good thread nice to meet you all x
