There used to be one site, sexualforums. com I think it was , and it was a blast - all kinds of people with all kinds of kinks - interacting, sharing pics, it had private messages and everything. But it closed down for some reason. Shame this forum doesn’t allow it, but I’ll try to at least read up on anything of interest here.

Of what I understand the forum used to allow private messaging but my guess is they had a number of members complaining about unaccceptable conduct and so they got rid of it. That, or the other possibility, I would suspect, is that some people were using the PMs to arrange affairs. I can’t imagine a sex positive forum wants to be associated with any unethical behaviour

I don’t know about you @Tenshadesandme but I Love that I can’t be contacted privately, it’s what made the forum even more appealing to me

I was making all kinds of mistakes at the beginning 
some of them I thought were a bit daft (like I once had a link removed to a diary blog post where I talked about getting flogged. It was removed as linking to erotica, even though it was literally about my sex life, ie an account of real sex like people share on the forum) but I just accepted the rules are what they are and tried to learn what is and isn’t allowed, and not do the things that got edited in future

I can’t say it doesn’t happen, as a blogger who does kink education I get people reaching out to me all the time and I have had some members reach out to me for help via my blog. However, they are usually respectful and would be quickly shut down if they weren’t.
To be honest the biggest pain in my neck and the one who has been told off more than once isn’t even a member on the forum
