Thank you!

Hiya Lovehoney,

Having been told to cool my ardour by lil known secret l fell to examining the horny loy that are OA members, and noticed that you have quite an international calling. However they don't appear on here, unless you are using a universal translator and BBG, Laynie, Horny Pony, Imeldaimelda, Diva and all the others are Europeans!!!!

What do you say?????

Tallboy

I say that... I don't understand the question!

What d'you mean?!

i also say we should have an edit posts button if its not tooo hard to add gr i was typing in a drunken state and i had to double post to correct myself which is double embarasssing

Ok, here's an idea...

Would it be possible to have an edit post feature for one's own posts, which times out like, 15-20 minutes after the post is, um, posted? That way we could correct any errors we made at the time that we made them, but not go back later to change it.

Since the edit post feature is restricted because of concern that some might want to remove evidence of what they were saying, but so many of us want to be able to fix things innocently, some kind of timeout feature might meet the needs of everybody.

I say 15-20 minutes because the post I made earlier today about the parcel I got from you lovely people for the review of the month somehow lost all its bold and italics when I posted it, and it's a bit long so I'd need longer than a few minutes to fix it. But I think 15-20 minutes max would do it.

How's about it, can you ask the IT people, please? :)

With grovelness,

Lubyanka. :)

They've said several times why an edit button ain't happening http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/community/forums/lovehoney-news/web-site-help/29031-forum-feedback/

Live with the typos people!!!

Imeldaimelda, the link you linked to links back to this thread, and Ruth gave the reasons in this thread, in this post:

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask if it would be possible to have an edit feature which works for the first 20 minutes after a post is published and which then disables itself.

I did check, and my question about the temporary and automatically self-disabling edit feature has not been asked before. If they can't do it, then fair enough. If there's a problem with my asking, I'm sure one of the LoveHoney people will sanction me accordingly. :)

Fprgive me Bath Bi Guy, but ahem, are you quite sure you heard that one right !!!!!

Tallboy....in between packing for trek up north past all you happy campers!!! will wave if l recognise anyone.

Thank you Ruth, I don't know of another forum which does this, I just thought of it as something which might be possible. Thank you for the tip about emailing to change a post, I'll do that if necessary.

I've noted the IT peoples' priorities for the immediate future, and I thank you for considering my idea. :)

Best regards,

Lubyanka. :)
