I thought it would be interesting to learn what hobbies everyone has and people can ask questions and discuss their different hobbies and interests.

I’m a huge nerd so video games, comics and Lord of the rings, Game of thrones and learning about medieval history are my big hobbies but I’ve also recently taken up photography and love taking pictures of different birds and wild animals out in nature

Good morning,

So my main hobby for me is darts, is play 2 times per week and then an additional time each month to play super league which is a league below county level. If I’m not playing darts I’m working. But then at weekends when it is on I’m a huge fan of the formula 1

Motorcycling , both street riding and adventure . I like to design and build from scratch all sorts of tools , usually when I run across a tool that is crazy expensive or just does not do whatever job well . Retired machinist and fabricator . Also love to repair things that were not intended to be repaired , a challenge .

Music is my main hobby, definitely a music nerd, but i also like films and read a lot.

Sea fishing, stargazing, cooking, roleplaying (when I can find the time). Would love to get back into airsoft and have thought about trying LARPing. Also really keen to give geocaching a go and wouldn’t mind trying my hand at painting.

With tvs these days you need a good system due to the smaller tv speakers.

Definitely, my mum has a small flatscreen and cos she’s deaf she has the volume high, it’s so tinny it hurts my ears! :joy:

I really enjoy listening to music and watching films and drama series on TV.
Also like anything nature or animal related.
I like to dabble with aromatherapy stuff too, making my own massage oils etc.

Music is my main thing but also love fancy dress…fishing…football…walking…darts and organising events.

Is sexual pleasure both giving and receiving a hobby? If so then it’s a big yes from me.

Any time I’ve roleplayed I’ve always taken on a character similar to Lara Croft because, as a woman who loves adventure and who can be quite fiesty, I really relate to her. I often think I would actually feel completely out of place in LARPing because my character is far too modern :joy:

Indoor rowing, hiking, music, and movies. As a couple we like to dance and are signed up for line dancing class next month.

I think a feisty and adventure loving character would fit right in, you might have to substitute her signature pistols for a bow but it could still definitely work
