We’re off somewhere new this year but can’t remember where (as long as it’s hot, the beers cold and I see my OH in swimwear I’ll be happy)

I’d love to go New York, Tokyo and a trip to see the Northern Lights (non of which would involve the first paragraph :joy: )

  1. Nowhere, 'tis silly season when the hay needs cutting and baling and harvest will soon be upon us. Not actually been on holiday in years and then it was UK music festivals or camping trips (which, I fully admit, I loved!) I’ve not been abroad since a school trip for A-levels.

  2. African Safari, and this is in the planning stages and will happen before I am too old and broken to enjoy it. The current plan is a week in mainland Tanzania on a couple of different reserves and then a few days of total relaxation on Zanzibar.
…This could change to South Africa though, as I have a cousin there.

Sounds great …

Typical hubby ears hahhaha

Off to Portugal for the first time in a couple of weeks.

I’d say the US, but not for the next few years at least. New Zealand appeals too, and Italy.

Do the Safari sooner rather than later @Peitho speaking from experience you never know whats around the corner, especially health wise. My mobility restricts many holidays for me know and I wish I had acted sooner.

This year we’re staying in the UK so we’re touring round significant Art Deco buildings all over the UK on our 1985 Honda Goldwing.

100% agree with you, @steve19 ! To be honest that’s what has kicked me into planning it now, rather than 10 years down the line. I was diagnosed with MS a few years back (though I am a long way behind you, I know) and am determined to get my top bucket list things done in the next few years while I can make the most of them. I hope you did manage to do lots of fun things before your mobility became too much of a hurdle to overcome :people_hugging:

Yes got lots done, its so frustrating now though as the mind thinks I can still do things but the body says no. I was diagnosed back in 1983 and had very short episodes about every 5 years then 16 years ago things have gradually got worse. Plan to go abroad again soon but no where exotic / long haul. You go and get things booked @Peitho

  1. Nowhere, possibly Wales for a week as my Mum owns a caravan over there. Maybe Cornwall in low season?
  2. India (the people, the cuisine, the culture, but mostly the people), Morocco (same as India, plus amazing sunsets), cruise of the Nordic countries.

Going to Florida next month so it won’t be hot, but that means lots of skimpy dresses and string bikinis, but rest of family will be there too. Headed to Cancun Mexico in November with adult friends. Even more skimpy clothing and bikinis on that trip. Cant wait :sun::sun:
