One thing that has always put us off being a bit noisy at home is the neighbours hearing etc, so you may think a hotel is ideal to let yourself go.
But maybe twenty years ago in a large city Premier Inn (Newcastle Quayside actually) at breakfast just before Christmas we seemingly were the only couple at breakfast, the rest of the tables full of families with children. As we had been going a bit mad the night before, the thought came to my partner that some of them might have heard, and she felt hugely ashamed. Since then she creeps around like a church mouse now.
Anyway, we stayed in a wonderful ‘suite’ last year at an old railway hotel with a fourposter bed and roses etc. I’d taken the small toy box, we started playing in the late afternoon when people would be out. However after attaching the cuffs to the uprights, she realised that the blooming thing creaked like mad and that put paid to that

I remember many years ago when we stayed at motels , hotels . I do remember one night where the couple at the next room were having a pretty good time , We were also . It almost seemed like we were taking turns making noise for the other couple to hear and then take a break and they would gp at it . Years ago I watched a special investigation on hotels , how much of previous people in your room had left more than enough material for DNA testing . They used that special light where body fluids would show up . OMG ! almost threw up watching their findings . Some chains were better than others . A few years better when some travelers imported bed bugs from France to Florida and they seemed to especially spread across the south . Since then we really like sleeping in our motorhome ( caravan ) for people on the other side of the pond . We get a warmer feeling from sleeping in our own bed . Sorry to be a buzz kill .

Well it is my lovely partner’s birthday this Sunday so we’ve booked an overnight stay at our not quite so secret getaway for Saturday at the speciality Naturist hotel/spa near Birmingham.
Have been quite a few times and while even no displays of affection are allowed in the public areas, the rooms are wonderfully comfortable which all have a nice shower area 
Nakedness is encouraged everywhere, including the large garden, although some guests like to wear a robe when in the bar or moving around.
The best part of the whole thing, is when you stay overnight, you are permitted to arrive anytime on the day of arrival (we usually arrive about noon) and can stay to use the facilities until whenever you like the on the day of departure.
I will take a toy or two, not sure yet, hopefully we won’t be too tired for a little play.

Samantha here. We have never heard anyone and we stay in quite a lot of hotels. Our favourite is getting naughty on hotel balconies. Last year around Valentine’s Day we had a weekend away, and there was literally activity in every room around us. Never experienced anything like it before or since. I quite liked it, my OH less keen. We then spent each breakfast trying to identify the amorous couples….

Years ago to do with work, I was in cheap B&B. I was working 12Hr shifts, coming back knackered.

Watched a special investigation on hotels and motels many years ago . When not at home , we prefer sleeping in our motorhome ( caravan for you across the pond . To check a hotel room for human fluids .
Use a small, inexpensive UV (black) light in a darkened room to reveal invisible stains from urine, sweat, semen, and other bodily fluids on bedding, carpets, and surfaces .
And that does not include bedbugs .
