I’m TERRIBLE at edging, I try my best but I can only go for about 30 minutes and then I’ll eventually give in and cum. It’s like that no matter what I do, whether it’s solo or with another person.

Umm… probably 12 or 13 years was the longest. 
After that, I almost made it through Lent one year before I was sexually active, so almost 40 days without masturbating? I don’t know that I made it the whole way, but I did pretty good.
Otherwise, if I go two days without it becomes a desperate situation. It’s good for mood control and good sleep habits. I try not to abstain without good reason.
