I've owned 11 although 4 of them have bitten the dust (some were disposable). I still use the other 7. I've spent over £500 on sex toys in about a year and a half. I seem to rotate a few of them, and I rarely go a day without using one.
I do use them as a substitute for partners though. I only consider myself to have too many if I own some that I don't use. I can still think of a few toys that I need to complete my arsenal.
Being a single virgin male I initally dismissed male sex toys as for and I hate to say this but, sad lonely guys. I'm so glad my perception of them has changed and I can honestly say toys are great.
I've went from having toys as a fun way to get over my anixety/nerves about having sex in the future all the way to just having toys for the sheer fun, pleasure and happiness they bring
I'm currently at 7 toys and tbh that's not nearly enough for me, but I have to limit myself for various reasons otherwise I'd have so much more. For me 50-100 would likely be my limit but then I'd be replacing old toys with new ones by that stage rather than just adding to it.
I have so many toys, they're falling out of boxes all over the bedroom - and yet i'm still adding more to my collection. Eventually there will be a cull and certain items will go... and then i'll buy MORE! mwahaha!

I think I technically hit the 'enough is enough' guideline already...but they all do something different for me, my partner or both so they can be justified! Just as my future purchases will be justified...:p

If it's the exact same toys but just maybe different brands then you problems. If it's the exact same toys but maybe you have different sizes, small differences or one vibrates and the other doesn't then fair enough.

Basically, I think that if you have storage room and if you can afford them, you can have as many sex toys as you want.
I admit that in my loneliness I have already hoarded 20+ toys. I generally get high-endish stuff that is likely to last a long time (after today, however, I have sworn I am NOT getting anything new until my birthday in June unless I want to cut on other expenses and live off noodle soup for a month or two - I should get back to actually saving money as I usually do). I guess I am one of the less common sex toy users, being a rather introverted swotty never-been-kissed who has never had any luck in the dating department.
I greatly miss intimacy and would value one single kiss more than any number of toy-induced orgasm; when I cannot have that, however, I don't see a reason why I should not enjoy myself a bit and have (at least) some solo sessions. I may be a bit odd and hold some slightly unusual opinions (seeing people would not expect such an opinion in a fairly religious person like myself) but I think that if you are certain that (when you actually have a partner, obviously) when you are with your partner, you (would) value his or her pleasure and satisfaction above your own (selfish) needs and wants, you are not doing anything wrong when you have some solo fun as well.
If I ever find a partner (and to be honest, seeing I have not managed to do so in my nearly 10 years of being "legally" adult, I am starting to doubt I am likely to be fortunate enough to do so), I don't think I am going to bin my toys; I would prefer to share them with him, or, should he not wish to do so, to have a bit of me time with them when he is away - I don't think that could possibly qualify as "cheating".
wow 200 is a lot, we are pretty new to using toys and only have about 8 between the two of us, but we definately want to get some more.
