I don’t know that I have much recollection of having many at all since I began masturbating. There were a couple years in college that I attempted to abstain from masturbating during Lent and may have had one, but I don’t remember distinctly. Now it’s very rare to go more than a day without having sex, maybe two if one of us is very ill, or this summer we had a couple two-night camping trips with the whole family and did not get busy in the tent with the kids right there. Not quite a long enough span to build up and require a wetdream…

How did you find the vasectomy if you don’t mind me asking and what age were you when you had it?

Vasectomy genuinely was the best decision I have made I think.
Was a pretty weird sensation, but barely hurt, a bit sore for a couple of days but that’s it.
Since then our sex-lives have been so much easier…
The issues we had are we don’t want more kids, female contraceptives gave My wife a number of psyche issues and condoms don’t work for me (lack of sensitivity from the previous mentioned overindulgence), and you can’t do anal allllll the time.
Now we can go to town on each other, and don’t have to worry if we want other people to get involved (within reason)…

Yes I’m definitely up for giving NNN a go too this year, every other year I’ve forgot and when seen it mentioned somewhere it’s part the way into the month and I’ve already done the deed. It will certainly be a challenge and depends if my OH wants sex or not, we don’t have it very often but when she wants it, she wants it lol. It will be interesting to see if I can still have a wet dream.

Definitely sounds like we are on the same wavelength with some things…. definitely done with kids ourselves….it’s just a waiting game for me for an appointment slot coming through and like you have mentioned, I can’t wait to go to town with things without the added hassle of having to throw a condom on!!

I haven’t for years but when I was in my teens it happened quite a lot, could be a little embarrassing if you were staying over at friends.
My husband said that he used to get them when he was younger but they stopped happening, probably when he started to masturbate regularly.
He was taking some medication during covid and this affected his sex drive to the point that he was not getting the urge or need to masturbate at all, and without really thinking about it, his orgasm frequency went down a lot. He had a wet dream around this time and it was a month or two until we connected the dots after he had a second one and they became more frequent after that.
So we figured out that once he gets to about 3-4 weeks without masturbating at all, unless we are having extra regular sex, he may be at the point to potentially get a wet dream.
