Someone who is able to stand tall despite the world bogging down on them,
Someone who can wake up at 6:00am , and prepare breakfast for her family , get the kids ready for school.
Someone who loves , even though she's hurt.
Someone who can stand and be a support for another , though in their own world , they seem to be drowning.
Someone who can embrace and live life, not just exist but "live"
Someone who realizes that "nobody is perfect" and embrace that fact. Finding perfection in imperfection.
I hope that in this new year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life. Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, DO IT. Make your mistakes, next year and forever.
If you want someone to like you, then be yourself. Show them who you really are, and not one ounce less. Because if you want someone to love you, then they should love all of you. Every imperfection, every past mistake, every awkward moment. Everything. And if they don’t stick around because of who you are? Then they really don’t deserve you.
