Jelly Rubber Toys (tpe)

I usually only buy silicone or non porous toys (like glass and steel) but I bought some “cheaper” toys out of curiosity just to see what the quality was like (and because they had some nice designs and shapes). Some of them are jelly rubber.

Tell me about your jelly rubber toy experiences, do you use a condom? Do you just use as is and clean them very well? Do you enjoy them, have you ever had any problems? Do you store them separately or together with your other toys? How long did you use your TPE toy before you’ve noticed it degrading and ditched it?

I’ve had a couple of jelly toys in the past but only one really degraded or caused any problems, it was a cheap red dildo and it melted into a fleshlight it was stored next to. Prior to that it was burning during use and had a nasty chemical smell and taste. Since then I have been scared of them.

I have bought a large packet of plain latex condoms to use on my new toys just to be safe, but I am curious if everyone takes this precaution, and if you don’t did anything even happen? Am I being paranoid?

I did check to see if there was already a topic about this and there are a couple but from quite a while ago. I mostly want to hear peoples personal stories. Tell me about your toys!

Only problem we have ever had is when storing some of our many realistic dildos next to each other uncovered. The black ones left some marks on the flesh coloured ones.now we keep each one in its own bag so can’t transfer colour to another.never have used a condom on one before just always gibe them a good wash before and after use which has always worked

The one jelly toy I had was from doc Johnson and it smelled like potent rubbery stuff! Many toys like this tend to need storing away from silicone ones

I’ve been keeping them in their own area away from the silicone for sure.

I’m glad to hear keeping them in bags works fine to stop them melting onto each other!
