Wow, seriously impressive. Will have to check it out at somepoint
Batteries Not Included and now Stand By Me, 80âs classics!
Watching Pretty Woman. Absolutely love it!
Last week, went to the cinema (first time since covid) and saw âThe Fatherâ. Not exactly what youâd call an easy watch, but superb.
Yep - watched it last night
Watched original Jurassic Park last night, nothing beats a Spielberg May be old but itâs a classic
Ah man, i love that film. Watched ghostbusters yesterday (the origonal, not the remake)
Great film
Justice league! Fir the 111th time
I went to see Cruella in the cinema, so much better than expected! Cinema was empty though, only myself and a couple, still early days getting back to normal but my god, Iâm so happy to get back into the cinema!
The Missing.
Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett. Directed by Ron Howard.
Very harrowing but rivetting.
Recently watched 2 thrillers. Awake and Run. Both are really good and I would deffo recommend.
We just watched the kids film Coco. Cried buckets.
@Mrs.John - I watched that on a plane. It took everything I had to not bawl like a baby and disturb the other passengers
Tomorrow War, it wasnât bad, think of a cross between Aliens and Terminator.
Captain marvel
Saw âYesterdayâ on TV last night. I missed the start, but I know the basic premise of the movie, so it wasnât hard to catch up. Completely daft, of course - and entirely based on a plotline stolen from âGoodnight Sweetheartâ - but rather enjoyable. It turns out, Ed Sheeran (who I canât stand!) is s half decent actor âŚat playing himself, anyway.
What most impressed me, though, was the casting of the guy who plays a 78 year old, never-been-famous John Lennon. TOTALLY convincing!
Is it? Bloody hell!
I could suspend my disbelief that after a solar flare most of the world forgot about the existence of The Beatles, but the lead character returning from Latitude festival and his bike is still chained up where he left it? Come on, thatâs just preposterous!
I tried to hide the video clip in a blurred spoiler, but it didnât play ball. I donât think it gives away too much.
Heâs an excellent John lennon though.
