Last Film You Watched?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 last night. Ready to go see the new 3D one tonight. Can't wait:)

The Departed on tv and I'll be seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 2 tonight :D

Right now watching capitalism: a love story and is doing the trick of getting me off to sleep, bit boring but makes a change from quest!!!! No this film not boring but shown at wrong time to get me all aaarrgghhh! about it. And we aint the ones that need preaching to!!! I like his other films esp healthcare in us - all amazingly bloody scary and we REALLY dont want that here. Anyway this film is dragging on abit - ok if studying american politics but bit........nodding off....................ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz

love birds.

it was sh!te

soul surfer.

annasophia robb makes my d!ck tingle but this film, dispite her being semi naked throughout was just awful. self important christian rubbish.

Drive starring Mark Dacascos. Great martial arts movie.

I can't be sure but I think the last film we watched was either:

Gambit with Shirley MacLaine& Michael Caine - excellent movie!

or

The Tamil film - Raavanan

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raavanan

Burlesque - I loved the outfits!

Hiya AA. I can highly recommend "The girl who leapt through time" beautifully animated. "Laputa castle in the sky", "My neighbour Totoro" and "Kiki's delivery service"
SG x

Slightly off topic... I treated myself to a Blu Ray DVD player and I love it but my daughter can't see any difference! What does anybody else think?

Coming back to topic... I bought "Moulin Rouge" on BR and watched it with the sound turned up... brilliant!

Just watched Ghost in the Shell. Manga film. Very much enjoyed it!

Can anyone recommend any other good visual manga films? Can't believe I have lived without watching this stuff before!

Mr. SexyGet is correct in what he says. I'd really recommend anything Studio Ghibli, which include, on top of the ones SG said (except The Girl Who Leapt Through Time - not Ghibli but a bloody excellent film):

- Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

- Porco Rosso

- Grave of the Fireflies

- The Borrower Arrietty

- Ponyo

- The Cat Returns

- Howl's Moving Castle

- Castle of Cagliostro

- The Tales of Earthsea

- Only Yesterday

- Spirited Away

I'd also recommend the film 'Paprika' and 'Akira'. There are loads more Ghibli films, those are just off the top of my head. I'm a bit of a fangirl

Cars 2, loved it. Cross between James Bond and loads of different motor racing stuff! Very funny, and I got told off by my 2 teenagers for laughing too loudly. Result!

I went to see Bridesmaids yesterday, having been twice before and it being sold out I was very disappointed! We walked out of the cinema part way through and went for pizza instead.

Went to see Horrible Bosses earlier this week and I would recommend it! Definitely much bettr than Bridesmaids depite the hype. Hilarious.

Watched species 3 last night not a bad film but still need to watch the first and second

harry potter the final one

Twin Peaks: The movie

It was alrite but I can see why it flopped when it was released.

It isn't porn just to clarify but there probably is something out there called Twin Peaks in porn.

the last film me & my daughter saw was the Harry Potter part 1 & part 2 the deathly hallows back to back at our local vue cinema well the last two in the Harry potter series

Oh yeah, I like anime amd have watched studio ghibli films, and own naussicca (love) and have seen princess mononoke and porco rosso, kikis delivary service, my neigjbour totoro and akira. Great films, lovely, but I'm looking into Manga now.

Ghost in the shell is more adult and fantastically done. Filled with lazy eye scenes that leave you in another world! I'm glad I have it on dvd! Butwhat other, more adult manga films are there out there? My man much preffered ghost in the shell to the 'kinder' lighter ones like Princess Mononke. Rated 15 rather than U makes a difference!

I have heard things about Afro Samuri. Is that a film or TV series?

Sorry, my mistake. Afro Samurai, if I'm not mistaken, is a TV series. My brother LOVES it, but I've never gotten round to watching it.

I'm not a fan of Ghost In The Shell at all. I love the theme tune to the series though!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is on tv at the moment. Probably my favourite one of them.
