Bf wants to see Cowboys and Aliens but I just looked at rottentomatoes for some reviews and it's a green splat so it's not good.
Big Poppa ,
No it wasn't a pron film . It's a comedy .

The Lovely Bones - have the tissues ready!
I watched Casino Royale too, didn't like Quantum as much. I was hoping to see One Day this weekend, seems its not out here till next weekend tho :-/
I watched the money pit today on dvd good fun Tom Hanks & shelly long were very funny in it.
Just come home from Cowboys v Aliens. Err. . . .on the SG rating 5/10. The lad loved it though! Wanted to see Captain America but was on too late for me. SG
Watched Alice in Wonderland on DVD last night. Mrs was so bored fell asleep and I wanted to but I just can't watch stuff and give up close to the end. Too weird and too predictable for me.
The night before was a total contrast as we watched The Adjustment Bureau which I'd highly recommend. Great story and good acting. The music was really lovely too. Another story based on Philip K Dick. Boy he had good ideas
What was it about Cowboys vs Aliens that you disliked SG?
I read about it Empire and almost though it wad a joke at first. What a crap name as well. Like calling Blade runner 'people vs replicants'
The remake of tinker, tailor, soldier spy, looks good. Read the book yearrrrrrs ago! God I'm getting old. :-(

Errr. . . .It was "alright" but I felt the build up to the action was sloooow and the storyline was a tad weak in parts, there's some explaining to be done and. . . and. . .Mr Craig's yankee accent deffo slipped back to his bond accent at times, even the lad picked up on it! He reckons they've taken bits from Red Dead Redemption too! Saying all that. . . .it's a no brainer movie I suppose. Not exactly Schindlers List.
Have you seen Inception? Brilliant BP! It'll be my next bluray possibly.

I've just watched this earlyer and i thought the book was much better but i do useually prefare the book. i did cry most of the way through the film
Just watch Fast Five take about a good refresh of the franchise!
Inception is great, bit of a mindfuck but we really enjoyed it. Liked the adjustment bureau too.
We've seen a lot recently, as we've both been off sick for over a week so did a lot of curling up on sofa with movies. These ranged from Ian McKellan in Shakespeare's Richard III (excellent) to The Island (enjoyable but confused - it doesn't know if it's a sci fi thriller, action block buster, or fish-out-of-water comedy) and last night we watched Wolverine (marvellous guilty pleasure!)
High points... Liam Neeson's performance in Unknown, very good, and we liked Taken too. Loved Leon. Also thought Monster was brilliant, enjoyed The Other Boleyn Girl, and we liked Takers even if it did just make us want to watch Heat immediately afterwards.
Low points... Elizabeth - I was expecting to really like it, but it's just not a good film. Didn't like the film adaptations of the Harry Potter books at all - I'd not seen them before. I love the books, but the films felt way too, um, rushed? I think that's the best word for it. Wasn't won over by Black Swan either - thought I would be, but it left me cold. And we both fell asleep in the first 15 minutes of The Gingerbread Man!
Next on our weirdly eclectic list...
Tangled, The Godfather (read the book but I've not seen the films yet to my OH's disgust!), The Duchess, the seventies Star Wars films (it's a cliche but I've never seen these either), Aliens, Wall:e and Resident Evil.
Warned you it was eclectic! Will let you know what we make of them.

(PS - sorry if I'm boring you all to tears, we've been shut up in the flat sick for so long I seem to have forgotten all normal social etiquette.)

Really?! We loved it! I feel like I want to say I'm so sorry you didn't like it!
But then, my beloved and two of my best mates are geeky comic book fanboys (only Marvel, not DC, apparently this is very important) so I've learned to love the genre. I liked how self-aware it was, although Thor is my out and out favourite from this canon.

I watched 'Twilight' last night.
I know I'm years behind everyone else but I read the 3 books and someone loaned me the DVD set. I'd had always resisted watching the film because of all the other vampire films and TV programmes around at the moment, but I have to say I really enjoyed it. Really well filmed, great atmosphere and not at all like a 'horror' story.

Yeah i quite enjoyed thor too...as for captain america i am a fan generally of comics (not fussed with either DC or Marvel, which wouldnt make me a proper geek as i know they are picky about which side you choose!) i thought the film was fine i was just let down terribly by the showdown with the baddie Dr Doom. I wont go into spoilers for everyone else, i was just very disappointed in the tedium of how that scene ended. Ruined an otherwise good comic book film for me.
SG69 yes I've seen Inception. Have it on DVD at home it's a great movie I think but not as complex watching it the second time but lots of little bits I'd missed. Visually it was awesome. Chris Nolan is a fab director I think.
Bought a couple if tracks to listen to from the soundtrack too. They had a fun app where you unlocked different dream stated by doing certain real life activities like using it on a full moon or over 40mph etc. Then u got new bits of soundtrack etc. Does this weird sound thing as well which amplifies quiet sounds and vice versa with a distant echo noise. Brill with good headphones on.
War Horse looks brilliant folks! Keep an eye out for it. I had a lump on my throat just at the trailer and that is not like me at all! *gulp*
