Thankyou for your offer SN, but I have solved my problem!
I bought the pink box file from Staples and it's great! Loads of room, lock and key, under £14, looks innocent - the suspension files just lift out to throw away. I'm really pleased with it and now I don't have to worry about my kids going hunting for Xmas pressies and being scarred for life on discovering my anal probers and dildos!
I just hope I never lose the key, that would be awful lol!

I got a beautful storage box from ebay ( made from old railway sleepers) I used a potato sack that I had ( handy for gardening) to line it- just tacked it down. They do sell them a toy chests/linen chests or just plain. I havent got a lock on mine but you could put one on or put luggage straps round it. It was a similar price to what I had seen around but so much nicer.

We have sold toy cases, toy suitcases, toy bags, toy boxes and more on Lovehoney over the past 10 years and have found over and over again that customers don't buy them! I love the idea of stocking them and there are some lovely designs available on the market but the down side is that they take up a lot of room in our warehouse and most come from the US and far east so there is a lot of freight cost and duty to add to the cost of importing them which makes them expensive for our customers! This is why we dont' have any at the mo i'm afraid. The case AS have on their site is only big enough for one vibrator at for £10 I feel it is not offering great value for customers - I've just had a quick amazon search and there are some great lockable storage soluations available - i'm especially loving the Zebra makeup Cases!
I use to use make-up cases. You can add a pad-lock to some of these, both bags and box ones. Although, when buying them, I'd advise avoiding ones with plastic linings / pockets as these can sometime react with your sex toys. I haven't found a sex toy to actually melt yet, but the internal plastic in the bags has on some of them.
I remember having this problem about the time this thread was created, when I first joined Lovehoney. I used a metal filing box that was meant to be for paperwork, it did lock but I was worried about toys touching in there and it bothered me sometimes.
I now have some of the Lovehoney storage cases - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30924 small, medium and large! I have two large ones actually and much prefer the bigger ones as you can fit lots in, even wands and rabbits! They're antibacterial too! :)
I really think its a case where people have to use their initiative. If love honey did start selling large lockable chests, you would get the people who complain that they are expensive, then you would get the people who dont like the colour or the look of it and request something else.
imo you buy toys from a site like LH because you know they are good items that shouldnt harm you as afterall you are inserting most of them into your body! Practical things like lockable storage boxes can be bought anywhere, argos, ikea, the range, amazon, ebay, wilkinsons, qd etc. i wouldnt class a storage box as something i would desperately need to buy from love honey!
I would rather they stick to keeping their space for the sex related items that you cant just nip into town to buy.
My better half actually makes these and personalises them. Send your requirements (box size), colour and any particular design you'd like on it and she'll make it for you. The only thing extra you need is a padlock for the hasp, which she also fits to the box. All the materials are reclaimed, which keeps the cost down too.
This all started when we couldn't find a box either and didn't like the idea of our toys turning up at school in a book bag.
We keep ours in two lockable aluminium flight cases. They were reasonably cheap from B&Q and just live on a shelf in the wardrobe and look pretty innocent. Our eldest daughter has asked in the past what's in them but I've just replied with "mums make up and rubbish like that". Good enough to convince her while she is 7 but unlikely to work in a few more years time!
