Male Circumcision/Foreskin

Yes, I have to agree that I like the look of an uncircumcised (intact) penis.
But, I am circumcised myself.

Hey!
I was circumcised as a baby.
I also have an undescended testicle.
I’m happy how my penis looks.

@CurvyJilly
I love how you use the phrase: beautiful and delicate.
Even as a straight guy, I can agree that the penis can be percieved as a beautiful part of the male body.
Great comment!

Mrs balls absolutely loves my fore skin, she plays with it, pulls it stretches it and before I’m fully hard she gets her tongue between the helmet and skin. I love it myself and hope I never lose it, I can’t see a problem with it ever getting tight, Mrs balls sees to that.

A lady was once asked , do you know what that useless piece of skin at the end off a penis is called? She said yes, it’s my husband!!

I’ve found this subject very interesting and upsetting…how many innocent babies…young boys and men been have been mutilated…lost feeling in their penis and far far worse?

I know for medical reasons we have to have surgeries…

Here’s just one ridiculous reason that was given

“Yes stopping masturbation was a significant reason for the rise of routine male circumcision in the 19th and early 20th centuries especially in English speaking countries where it was promoted by doctors and reformers to curb perceived harmful effects as masturbation was wrongly blamed for numerous illnesses…”

And just a few others:

Other countries it’s about avoiding masturbation and pro creation instead so don’t wank have sex make babies…

My husband / dad / brothers / grandad had it done it’s family “tradition” they’re all ok…

Religion

The cleanliness one is shocking…so let’s make men with a foreskin believe he’s dirty…different…avoiding relationships.

Let’s make women think a foreskin is dirty and reject a partner for having one and even worse making him have a circumcision because she “prefers” it.

Innocent babies and children having part of their reproductive organ removed without consent unless it’s a medical reason is so so wrong.

I totally agree with all your points. Tradition is another poor excuse. Sending young kids up chimneys was tradition and rightfully stopped, as was slavery.

Not only boys, but it horrifies me that in some cultures young girls have their clitoris and labia removed specifically so they can never get pleasure from sex. Often done by unqualified family or friends with no medical experience and in unhygienic conditions with predictably tragic results.

I understand that people who were circumcised at birth have never known any different and have no idea what having a foreskin and it’s importance and sensitivity during sex means. But i wish they wouldn’t defend the practice. They’re victims encouraging that practice to continue, creating more victims. Almost like Stockholm Syndrome.

And the scary thing is quote

Legal requirements (UK)

“There is no strict legal requirement for a person performing a circumcision to be a surgeon or even medically qualified, though legal risks arise if the procedure is done incompetently”

Bit late then isn’t it?

Why oh why is this still happening to innocent children?

That is unbelievable! Unregulated surgery on children. Even beautician’s are meant to have some qualifications and training to put in lip fillers in consenting adults.

This thread has developed into a rather robust debate hasn’t it ? I’ve mentioned in other discussions about my reasons to be very reluctantly circumcised for medical necessity in my 50’s.

Even after the informative & friendly, but rather ‘direct’ nature of the surgeon’s consultation, I still doubted if I could actually endure it, eventually it happened last spring.

Appearance wise, well it looks ok, thankfully I don’t have the two-tone look of a ritual or fetish circumcision. For medical procedures, all diseased foreskin is removed, resulting in an ultra ‘low’ style with the shaft skin right up to the glans with little movement when aroused.

This results in changed sensations, which requires a lot of relearning. For absolutely everything lube is required, but not too much as it seems to mute any sensations. Conversely for me though, despite the most sensitive skin being removed, during PIV it still isn’t possible to last more than two minutes, which is the exact opposite of most cut guys, especially with my ‘style’.

In conclusion, at least I can have sex now. It was impossible for three years, and difficult for twenty being honest, and I can now wee without issues as it was constricting my stream etc. So speaking personally it is a plus for me.

However I stand by my opinion that ritual or cultural circumcision should be illegal, and I’m fairly opposed to cosmetic and fetish reasons, but accept that consenting adults have the right to do so if they wish.

PS, even with a non-retractable foreskin for almost three years, I still managed to keep it clean by rinsing it daily in beaker of lukewarm salt water for a few minutes. Any build up was cleaned out sufficiently and it never smelled.

Oh it certainly is true, look up the term ‘Mohel’

21st century and these rituals are still happening. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

The sucking by mouth…I have no words. :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Exactly….

How on earth can that be deemed appropriate in today’s society ?

There was an interesting article in the Guardian about it. Didn’t clearly come down one way or another though the impression was that the writer considered it barbaric.
It goes some way to explain why its considered legal in the UK and while it doesn’t say explicitly, certainly hints at which lobby is responsible.
Many of the comments would agree with him.

Hope this doesn’t break any rules, Brenna.

Guardian Article about circumcision.

Religion should not trump common sense, the law or humane practices.
