Congrats on trying something new, NCB! You may want to make your fingers your first toy. This’ll let you know whether you actually enjoy sensations in that area or enjoy butt stuff strictly as a fantasy.

I too say lube and fingers
Lube , Lube and then more Lube . start with little finger gradually increasing over time ( not minutes or seconds ) progress to small butt plug that you can leave in for a short while to get used to the sensation , make sure your finger nails are cut short !!!
