I didn’t mind watching it. It was interesting watching it and as if the couple hadn’t really spoken about what they want. It was like oh shall we try a threesome oh look let’s sign up for this show so we can show in front of the whole world. I think the only real one that was confident was one of the last episodes and she wanted her partner to watch her.
It was mildly entertaining and I did get hard at some of the sexy bits. As usual though with TV we are only exposed to bums and tits… With so much porn readily available to anyone these days it would be good to see everything. I know its about the journeys the couples go through on their sexual adventures, im just saying it would be good to see a bit more… Its only vaginas and penis’ for goodness sake and they do have a camera crew and god knows how many people watching them.

I think a lot of the time aswell, the couple discussed what they wanted or were interested in but once it actually came down to it and socialising with people they got confused or changed their minds on what they wanted which is absolutely valid!
It’s a lot of pressure on the couples and we weren’t given a lot of time to socialise with them at all!

I found it pretty entertaining, and interesting to watch people as they go through the journey of trying ethical non-monogamy for the first time.
I think it‘s an interesting TV experiment. Not particularly scientific, mind you; but it‘s quite fun from a cultural and entertainment point of view.
Culturally it‘s interesting to see just how far we‘ve come in terms of acceptance around this lifestyle/relating style. It‘s also fun to watch the range of sexual kinks and emotional baggage that people bring to the experience.
This program has some obvious limitations. The producers had to find people willing to discuss what is normally very private conversation on a fly-on-the-wall documentary/ reality format.
It‘s also highly stage managed and choreographed around the guest couples.
Some might call all this fake, but I say that’s TV for you. I think most people are sophisticated enough in being able to understand many of the artificial methods used to bring us these couple‘s stories.
More and more people have an understanding of how video content is produced, for example.

I’m always nervous necroing an old thread as its frowned upon in so many other places .. but ..
I was going to write that my OH and I really enjoy watching this. Its clearly scripted reality but we’re ok with that. Full on reality would require a setup more like Big Brother to get the quantity of useable material to make a decent length interesting show. so nudging in a direction is fine. And besides, you can tell most aren’t actors and their reactions seem genuine, which is the whole reason to watch.
But the question we always seem to have is why oh why do so many couples choose to go on TV and do something that one or both are clearly not emotionally ready for? I suppose there’s something to be said for accepting you’ll never really be ready so just have to go for it .. but on TV? And risking your marriage?
Still, comments above are right that its great that this can be more accepted and talked about now. And it made us realise, again as pointed out above, that while we probably couldn’t do a three or foursome, the idea of being together in an orgy, even if we just stick together, is quite exciting. Which is a surprise for two people who are terrified of being seen.
And its nice to hear from @Bunnyred that much of it is legit though I kind of hoped all the other couples would slink off to their own orgies once they’d been left alone, instead of a cup of tea and a good book.
