I can promise you it’s all real and real sex does happen! It’s was an absolute pleasure filming and none of us knew each other before the show but we have all become really good friends after as it was filmed back in September!
What I love about doing it was that it has opened up so many conversations Between people!
Ha I did wonder if you guys knew each other beforehand as you all follow each other on the likes of TikTok. In retrospect I guess it was filmed quite some time ago considering it’s only just aired.
I find the whole concept of the show very interesting to watch as it’s something we’ve discussed and dabbled with in the past. I just worry a lot of people are more “influencers” than interested.
Your comment has answered one thing however - there are people from the show on the forum (as I would have expected). Not just “people” but my husbands favorite from the show in fact.

@Bunnyred What happens to the people that have been partying once a couple/ individual has been selected as it appears that they just leave (either that or the party continues but we don’t see any of it as viewers)

I didn’t mind watching it. It was interesting watching it and as if the couple hadn’t really spoken about what they want. It was like oh shall we try a threesome oh look let’s sign up for this show so we can show in front of the whole world. I think the only real one that was confident was one of the last episodes and she wanted her partner to watch her.
It was mildly entertaining and I did get hard at some of the sexy bits. As usual though with TV we are only exposed to bums and tits… With so much porn readily available to anyone these days it would be good to see everything. I know its about the journeys the couples go through on their sexual adventures, im just saying it would be good to see a bit more… Its only vaginas and penis’ for goodness sake and they do have a camera crew and god knows how many people watching them.

I think a lot of the time aswell, the couple discussed what they wanted or were interested in but once it actually came down to it and socialising with people they got confused or changed their minds on what they wanted which is absolutely valid!
It’s a lot of pressure on the couples and we weren’t given a lot of time to socialise with them at all!

I found it pretty entertaining, and interesting to watch people as they go through the journey of trying ethical non-monogamy for the first time.
I think it‘s an interesting TV experiment. Not particularly scientific, mind you; but it‘s quite fun from a cultural and entertainment point of view.
Culturally it‘s interesting to see just how far we‘ve come in terms of acceptance around this lifestyle/relating style. It‘s also fun to watch the range of sexual kinks and emotional baggage that people bring to the experience.
This program has some obvious limitations. The producers had to find people willing to discuss what is normally very private conversation on a fly-on-the-wall documentary/ reality format.
It‘s also highly stage managed and choreographed around the guest couples.
Some might call all this fake, but I say that’s TV for you. I think most people are sophisticated enough in being able to understand many of the artificial methods used to bring us these couple‘s stories.
More and more people have an understanding of how video content is produced, for example.
I say well done to Channel 4 for putting this out there.
