I always buy myself a little present off Lovehoney as a reward for getting through the dreaded period week. This month I was debating a cute butt plug tail or really really treating myself and getting a lovense lush. (What are peoples thoughts on the lush and is there any cheaper or better alternatives you’ve found ?)
Anyone else do the same ? And more important does anyone have any toy recs and contenders that are a worthy period reward ?
I never really suffered much when I used to have periods. No pain, no bloating and not particularly heavy either. Guess I was lucky in that respect so I didnt feel I needed to reward myself for gettng through it. Now if I wanted to reward myself then I used to buy lingerie (never need an excuse to buy lingerie) or clothes.
The bloating and back pain always takes me out 
but Lingerie is a great idea !

Oh sweet, if your periods are that bad, please, please consider going to the doctor and trying the mini-pill. Mine used to be horrendous, I’m now on Noriday and don’t get any periods at all. It’s bliss!
Definitely something I’ve been considered more recently, the cramps and emotional drop leading up to it makes going on the pill more and more tempting every month
I agree with @Tenshadesandme, the pain I experienced was horrible. I’m on Desogestrel and don’t get any periods either. It’s the best decision I made 
I don’t get mood drops at all now. It takes some trial and error (compared to @Stacy2, I was an absolute monster on Cerazette 
) but it’s 100% worth the conversation. I’m completely stable mentally and my sex drive is just as high now as it was before I started
It even improved my cystic acne after years of all kinds of aggressive treatments
