Noticed you’re still active on the forum so even though this is an older post, I’ll chime in.
Different men in porn do different things.
A good amount will use Viagra or Cialis.
There are injections that some in porn inject into their penis to remain erect. Trimix is one such thing some will inject into their penis to remain erect for long periods of time.
There are others besides Trimix. Another is Caverject. They are ICI’s, intracavernosal injections.
Not many, but some, at least one male porn actor had an implant put in to become and remain erect.

One man who remained erect naturally for long periods of time was described by a popular well known porn actress in the following way.
She said she was in shape, did cardio but she was still getting tired and winded with him. He went on and on and then he’d “pop” (ejaculate) and then he’d keep going.
She said he “popped” many times, then took a break to get something to eat and he still had a raging boner while eating and he came back over after the break and they resumed filming and he “popped” several more times.
She said while she was sore and tired, she wanted to see how it was going to end, how long he’d last but after hours and hours they finally finished and he was still erect.
My main point is that there isn’t one size that fits all. Many will use things, but not all of them do and not all of them use or try the same things either.
Some estimates are as high as 95% of male talent in porn use something to help them become or remain erect on set.
Besides using things to remain erect, a tad more about male performers is that directors want them to be able to ejaculate darn near on demand, at the right time.
That isn’t always possible so they film in segments and piece together the footage. Other times they will use fake ejaculate as well, when the male talent isn’t able to ejaculate when he’s needed to.
Many directors want them to be able to shoot out several feet too instead of dribbling out, though that happens in porn too of course.

It should be “Enough to full glaze a face,” he says. “At least 4.75 tablespoons.”

Why 6 feet? “So you can stand at most women’s feet while they are prone and reach their faces,” he explains. “Aim is what separates the good ones from the great ones.”
Folks, keep in mind that things haven’t always been the same in porn, for either the male or female performers.
Things today didn’t exist decades ago.
Viagra and Cialis didn’t exist decades and decades ago.
ICIs that male performers inject into their penises didn’t exist long ago.
Fake ejaculate wasn’t used decades and decades ago which is why long ago it was more important for male talent to be able to cum on demand.
It’s easier to piece together footage today with today’s technology than to have to splice actual film footage, like from an 8 mm film and due to this, scenes may be stopped and “filmed” later and pieced in far easier today than long ago.
And as most know, porn has changed a great deal from decades ago. Going back to the 70’s and 80’s, a lot of porn were like movies, with plots, lines etc. though the story lines and the “acting” wasn’t great, they were still movies.
Porn has long changed to filming more scenes instead of movies. The internet fundamentally changed porn from movies to shooting scenes.
