Prostate Massager with flat base

Dear All

Does anyone know if they make a prostrate massager with a flat base, the kind you see on plugs that allow you to sit whilst it's inside you?

I'm keen on trying something like the Aneros range, however, the handles/end bits look like they'd be uncomfortable if I were to choose to sit, rather than lay down.

Or am I completely missing the point/workings of these toys? Is it essential that you are flat out on the floor?

Or ... if someone does have one of the traditional Aneros style masagers, is it possible to sit on them? How would the hanle feel if used this way?

Thanks in advance

Hey kodama

We have a few prostate massagers which have a flat base and are suitable for sitting on, however due to the lack of a 'neck' they're generally not suitable to walk around wearing like some butt plugs.

The Aneros range are surprisingly comfortable and the P and K stimulators (the arms!) are reasonably flexible. They are also narrow enough that they sit between your bumcheeks, making it easier to sit. The Aneros DeVice Silicone Prostate Massager has a flat base and is smooth and flexible for comfort during sitting.

Having said this, we do have several other massagers with a flat base, such as the Dr Joel Kaplan Angled Vibrating Prostate Massager Plug, the Tantus P-Spot Silicone Anal Dildo, the Renegade Silicone Vibrating Prostate Massager 1 or (when it's in stock) the Dr Joel Kaplan Silicone Beaded Prostate Massager

The entire Rocks Off range is designed to be used while sat. The idea is to insert them and 'rock' back and forth to stimulate the prostate - hence the name!

We have LOTS of customers get in touch to say how comfortable the njoy butt plugs are to wear all day (including to the office where they are predominantly sat down) so it stands to reason that the njoy Pure Fun Stainless Steel P-Spot Butt Plug is just the same.

And finally there is the Nexus range, who also have flat bases. The Revo 2 is amazing as the insertable shaft rotates so you can simply sit and enjoy with pretty much no effort!

So, lots and lots to choose from!

Have fun!

The first thought that came to mind was the Nexus Range. This range also gets good reviews more often than not.

Aweomse response

Ill be looking into those....

We have a prostate toy that is very similar to the aneros toys, with the sword shaped handle and weirdly, my partner finds it comfortable to sit down on. The main curve will rest up between your bum cheeks surprisingly well and the smaller curve presses slightly into your perineum. That sword handle shape is surprisingly comfortable, at least, in our opinion, for sitting up, he says you can feel a slight protrusion but nothing uncomfortable. There is one aneros toy that has a different handle (Both curve upwards):

Tantus also do a completely "butt plug like" base on most of their anal toys, like this one:

I'd be a bit nervous of that last one disappearing in extended wear given the relatively small base

I have the Nexus Max 5 coming tomorrow for testing. As soon as i've had a chance to test it, i'll let you know how comfortable it is. Will probably have to wait til the weekend as I have a friend staying over tomorrow night! :)

Could never recommend the Rocks Off range, they are tough to insert for a beginner and I couldn't get to grips with the "rocking".

I'd highly recommend the Aneros range, fantastic quality prostate massagers. My favourite is the http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=4228 (Helix) but want to trade up to the new Silicone version in the near future (http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24600 - Helix Syn)

Ahhh this is getting confusing, I had this in my wishlist,

http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=24600

but changed it for this

http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=28639

as it looks great, but now with Ste's comment I'm not sure if I should go back to my original!!!

Hah, I love the Helix it's just so easy to use, so easy to derive pleasure from.. (Almost) instant gratification. I personally think the shape and curvature of the Helix is pure delight and brilliant design too. Once inserted there is literally no work to do to get it to hit the prostate.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the DeVice though, but I honestly don't think I would buy another P massager than a Helix. Would take some very compelling persuasion. Definitely nothing other than an Aneros!

Dear Jess, thanks so much for the time and effort you put into that response. Very kind of you.

I agree with Sam, the stopper on the Tantus looks very small. I'd worry too much. I do love the shape and size of the DeVice. Have you read the review from RexTheDog? I love reading testimonials from people who just simply can't priase a toy enough. He's pretty much sold it to me.

I tried a rocks off toy a while back, and the shape didnt fit my anatomy. There were a few people who just couldnt get along with it, sadly I was one and so has put me off going back just incase there is a repeat issue.

I'll have to have a quick look to see if you can pick any of these up with LH points. I'm going to have over 5000 come Feb. I wish there was a search function on the spend your points page.

Thanks again gang, youre all amazing!

Just to let people know about my experiences with Aneros here. I went for one of the hard plastic toys and was not only dissapointed byt very worried.

It had a nasty seam around it, something I couldnt believe from such a highly rated and regarded company. I used it several times, but could never sit on it. The plastic was far too hard, like a solid coat hanger type plastic and I was very worried that the arms would snap. The worst bit of the seam was around the arms, and felt like a razor on my soft parts.

I sent it back to LH, they were very kind about it all and I upgraded to the DeVice. When it arrived, I was again suprised to see a seam. I have a tonne of anal toys, some cheap, some expensive and none of them have a seam of any kind. I can't get my head around why they would make these items from two pieces and join them together.

Anyway, the seam on this one isnt raised, its soft, bends and it's easily sat on.

The next dissapoining thing from Aneros is the lack of information. The instrcution book in the DeVice box is regarding their other toy, with their trade mark shape and use of your anal muscles to move the toy. The DeVice is, I think, supposed to be sat on and rocked back and forth. Not a word on how to use it. On their website they dont even have it as a listed product.

For such a well regarded company, I think it's pretty poor.

My 5 cents.

I currently have an Aneros Progasm, I rate it, it's a real pleasure to use, however I'd love to try on of these http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=9619

I looks like it could take me to new delights and give an even better sensation than the progasm... one for the wish list for sure.

I'd be worried about the size of the base, looks tiny. The 7.5inches of inserted length is too much for me to sit comfortably.

There is no need to worry about the base. This is an old picture. Tantus has updated the base a long time ago; it is now at least one centimetre thick.

But it isn't possible to use it sitting down, as the prostate isn't that far inside. You are supposed to use the ball on top to massage the prostate while holding it on the lower third of the shaft, which is quite comfortable if you are lying down.

I would reccomend the Aneros DeVice or the Nexus Max 5 for use in sitting position.
