Hi Lovehoney members!
I sent 2 items in one package to Lovehoney returns on 4th June, and I also sent a package with 4 items in it to the recycling Rabbit Amnesty scheme on the same date.
One of the items to be returned was for a refund of Oh! Points, and the other one was for a refund of £6.99.
I know Tuesday 5th June was also a bank holiday, so I may be worrying for no reason, but I am worried that the packages may have been lost in the post because I haven't had any confirmation saying that the packages have been recieved. However, I did speak to someone at Lovehoney customer services briefly today, who said that I should wait until the 16th to see if LH have receieved to packages.
The problem is that I (foolishly) didn't get a certificate of posting, because the post office was closed on the day and it was the only day I could get to the nearest post box to my university.
If the packages have gone missing, would there be any chance of me getting my refund and OH! Points? Or have I lost them for good? :(

I don't know about what your position would be with regards to a the refund and OH! Points in view of the no proof of postage certificate. I definitly wouldn't give up on your returns packages reaching lovehoney. I had a returns parcel which took 9 days for LoveHoney to receive and that was without any bank holidays!!
Because of the two bank holidays you have to class it as being sent on Wednesday 6th June. In addition, the post office will have a back log of post to sort out. Try not to worry

Also I notice that returns to LoveHoney are sent 2nd class now. I think they may have gone first class originally but i'm not sure?? All very easy to understand due to the big post office increase recently and LoveHoney would have to pass the extra cost on to customers, which i think it wants to avoid.

Hi MissAnonD - if you put it in the postbox on the Monday it won't have been picked up from the post box till the Wednesday due to the bank holiday. This would have arrived with us on Friday at the very earliest, but more likely the Saturday or even Monday this week.
I've had a quick peek in the warehouse and it looks like there's quite a lot of returns to process (the 4 day weekend would have put us behind a little bit) so it may have been delayed getting here, and it's sat in the queue waiting to be processed.
