I’m in the UK. I may have misunderstood your wording, but just in case… I’m not suggesting that separate sex ed classes aren’t allowed in UK state schools - just that it’s taught as part of a broader curriculum of citizenship/social responsibility.

As far as i can remember it would have been about age 12 or 13 in General Science and lasted either 2 or 3 lessons .Not really sex education more like reproduction lessons,we did have diagrams of the male and female anatomy and that was about it the fact that sex might just be for pleasure rather than procreation did not seem to enter the equation.
