Yup, if your on top you'll being doing more work and thus burn off more. However even just being horny stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and your faster heart beating etc burns off calories too but nI doubt it would be enough to get any noticeable weight loss.

Yes, I was going to try the chair one but he lose his erection. I'm guessing coz the girl isn't just sitting down but bouncing it would work them out.
