My wife had a landing strip when she was younger for a bit when she had started shaving, but she was shaving her pubes completely not too long after. She said she just preferred not having any hair down there and being smooth. Now she has had it lasered.

I had mine cut to just a “Landing Strip” a while back, but once the weather got colder I let it grow out…… now the warmer weather appears to be on it’s way, Pen says one weekend soon she is gonna give me a Yul Brynner instead of the Tony Curtis it is now……. xx

I use a Phillips Norelco, One Blade trimmer and a Braun foil shaver and get great results.
The best time to shave is when you’re hard, the skin is stretched out, or when it’s a little cold (shrinkage) the skin is tight, both ways work for me.

YOU wax your wife??? My OH said he would wax me when I mentioned doing that for the first time instead of shaving (razor bumps, ingrowns,….. the not fun side of it) and I about panicked. Lol. Not sure how I feel about doing it at home.

Yes I’ve been doing it since covid when the salon she used closed.
Not sure why you feel doing it at home is an issue?..
We bought a kit off amazon and buy bags of wax beads when required.
Super easy, only takes half hour or so and usually ends up with sex afterwards.
She used to pay £30 per visit at the salon so we’ve also saved a fortune, win win…
I’ll be waxing her this week in fact ready for a weekend away.

I guess just the fear of injury more than anything. I mean, he’s seen, touched, and had his mouth on every inch of me. I just wasn’t sure how high/low injury risk is… again, never done it.
We’ve been doing it for 4 years or so, never had any injuries, saying that im not exactly sure what injuries could occur.
Perhaps try around your bikini line area, easier than around your lips and see how you get on.
Once all done both you and your partner will be very pleased with the results.
Also the more you do it the less hair grows back making it easier.

Yeah skin tearing is my biggest fear. Maybe we’ll venture into it and try it. I’ve always heard the first one is the worst. Thanks for the input

Good for you. Removing your pubes is a big change in how you look down there. It seems a lot of people are into that. I have only experienced a nearly clean shaven woman once, and it was very exciting. My wife had a procedure done where they had to remove some of her hair, so I got to see how it looked. I do not remember if we even had sex right after the procedure, probably not, however it was exciting to see. I try to encourage her to trim herself, but she forgets. I do not mind a little hair, but not real bushy, especially if I am going to lick her, as it gets very sloppy. I keep my own pubes trimmed, and shave the shaft most of the way down. I think it looks better, and the smoothness feels nice.

I’ve been completely bare down for many years, probably about 15 years if I count. I tried a landing strip when I was 19-20ish but the upkeep and ingrown hairs were a pain. It feels better for me with no pubes, I personally like how I look without and it is just a lot easier to remove it all. I waxed for years in UK and then got it all lasered when I moved over to US.

I did an unofficial review of a neat little shaver i bought on line…few weeks back.
You might see it on TIKTOK…..Would be great for buffing around vagina lips and clit area.
Its about the size of a D- battery ….very fine shaver head.
