When asked most women always say girth is more important than length, my OH is no different, she has decided she's worked up to more girthier toys and dildos only problem is when looking through the Lovehoney toys any toy that is girthy enough is also too long, why when toy manufacturers know girth is more important do they not make short toys in a variety of widths, she would want anything that wasn't anymore than 6inches long as longer is too uncomfortable. I know my OH would love the choice, anyone out there agree with her?
Without sounding flippant, you don't need to use the whole length. From a manufacturers perspective, I guess it doesn't matter if you want a girthy 10in or 3in, if you make the 10in everyone can still use it and you limit the amount of products you need to produce.

+1. Simply use the length you're comfortable with? Just because a toy is 10 inches long, doesn't mean you need to use it all. I have a few girthy toys around the seven inch mark which is what I'm comfortable with, but often find myself only using the head and first two or three inches of the shaft as I don't need the length to get the stimulation I want.

Thanks for your condescending replies! Put me and OH in our place! So much so she didn't want to reply till now! Of course we know you don't have to use a whole toy but sometimes, like most my OH likes to sit on her toys and play with them hard! This can't be done if the toy is toy long and your always worried about hurting yourself! She has this problem with the long toys we have, but as most women like girth not length we just wondered why no short girthy toys! Thanks all the same!

If you had mentioned in your original post that it was her intention to ride them and use the entire length, then my response would have been different. I totally agree that there are a lack of short, girthy toys available but I think it is possible to find a few out there depending on the width she's after. It might be worth adding your thoughts to the Pander to Me thread too - Lovehoney might be able to fill the gap in the market!
I obviously don't know the girth she's wanting but a few Tantus toys come to my mind that might be suitable - Mikey 02, Luke 02, T-Rex, Small Amsterdam and Scout.

And I said in my first post I find anything over seven uncomfortable, but I still use longer toys (although only the length I'm comfortable with) so it could have meant something similar to that. It can be difficult to understand exactly what things mean through the internet though and things can easily be misunderstood :)
