Smoothy

Evening all.

I am one who goes for the fully shaven/bald route when it comes to pubic hair. I and mrs prefer the look and feel of things hairless.

Now I’ve been shaving for maybe the last 14 years or so. I always and I mean always get uncomfortable razor bumps and itchy. It’s better when I exfoliate prior and in between shaving but still gives me razor bumps.

Now waxing is out of question because of the fact I have to go to a clinic to have it done and I’m not about laying in front of someone random with my bits out.

I’ve considered more and more lately about getting a home laser hair removal device. I can do it in the privacy and comfort of my own home and it works out way cheaper.

Has anyone got experience with home laser? What ones are people using? Any tips or advice?

I tried a home laser and I was very disappointed by the (lack of) results.

I’ve gone back to shaving (my whole body) but I use Nivea exfoliating cream and I rarely get bumps and ingrown hairs now.

I have an IPL machine at home that was giving okay results until I started reacting to it (got a rash on my legs only). You have to shave before using it which is a bit of a pain. But I figure if I’m shaving then I may as well use that as well and somewhat reduce the amount of hairs that grow back!

We both shave, well he shaves himself and me. We use a quality skin moisturiser after and it stops razor burn and feels so nice when rubbing it into your skin. It’s quite erotic :sunglasses:

Me and the Mrs both share and use a Braun IPL home machine

It’s worked absolute wonders for us, on maintenance and use it every other week now just to remain completely hairless.

No issues with ingrowing hairs or anything during using it

I prefer to shave daily in shower

We both go smooth, i wax wife and shave myself. Wax kits are quite cheap.

So currently I use the Venus exfoliating scrub, shave with the Gillette Intimates razor then use coconut oil. But I can and certain that I’ll get razor bumps/burn everytime. :man_facepalming::pensive:

I just use a good body moisturiser cream and shave using that. It works really well for both of us and leaves us feeling smooth, moisturised and smelling lovely.

Home laser tends to be a hit and miss as the levels needed to have a long lasting result can only be obtained in a clinic by a professional machine but even then you’ll need multiple treatments

In home IPL machine may work a treat for you if your hair is dark . I bought one and started using it and it seemed to work somewhat OK , except to many lighter colored hair along with grey and white did not allow the light to destroy the root . I much prefer home waxing except that wife is too messed up to " do me " . So I use Magic Shave Powder ( regular ) on my dangly bits and butt cheeks . I still shave much of the flatter upper legs , lower abdomen . I I would have done IPL about 10-15 years ago I would have had much better success .

The only permanent way is salon laser treatment. Expect 6 to 8 sessions. Home IPL is useless, it may cause the hair to fall out temporarily.
Myself and my wife had salon laser and are completely smooth

Welcome to the form !

My boyfriend was mostly hairless down there already when we got together and said it just feels better being smooth for him. Reports were mixed on the home IPL and how effective it was or how long it would take. He decided to get all his pubic are lasered and started about 2 years ago with professional laser at a salon. It took about 8 treatments total but he is hair free down there now and doesn’t have to shave or anything. We are both very happy with the look and feel and I’ve now had a couple of treatments to do mine also.

Why did the title of this topic make me imagine somebody putting fruit inside themselves?
