I do like the love honey eclipse! Nice ring!Lovehoney - Jess wrote:
It was a CORKER here at LHHQ! ;)
Like most people, it was a huge disappointment as it was completely grey and overcast - so I didn't really notice it get any darker either - and in typical fashion, we've had nothing but clear blue skies AFTER the eclipse....
Haha - sods law isn't it David!!
We were lucky and the cloud did break long enough for us to see it. It was very exciting! :D
You can tell which of us are a bit geeky by how exciting we found the eclipse!

Breakfast on the patio, with a good show here in Brum clear sky and a good view through a welders mask rubish for a picture though, too much reflection.
I was surprised how fast it went cold though.
Couldn't see it here in London :(
I forgot to mention that my pinhole projector for viewing the eclipse was made from a Love Honey box!Lovehoney - Jess wrote:

Aw! I wanted to try the pinhole! I don't think it was quite bright enough here though to make a good projection. I did spot a guy in the carpark next to the snooker hall attempt it though x
I'm waiting for stargazing live on bbc2! Bet they have some amazing footage/pictures to show :)
It worked during breaks in the cloud and the LH box was perfect!Sarahgee wrote:

Yeah. Far too overcast, unfortunately. :(
