I’m in no rush, it’s just annoying that i have the time, but everything is shut. Got a trip to tip planned for tomorrow morning. The charity stuff will have to wait. As will the CEX stuff.
If you have a recycle place at your nearest council tip they normally have a shop that they sell stuff from try taking it there

Thanks, ours just has a part for old tvs, white goods etc.
My husband started buying CDs in 87. He only had CDs left by 90. He still has all his CDs (as do I)

I won mine after answering 3 questions and a tiebreaker on a beermat for Lamot Pils! I was presented with the cd hi-fi system in the pub at the end of November 1986! I had bought Somewhere in Time by Iron Maiden and Power Windows by Rush as soon as i knew i’d won! They were about £15 each! 34 years later you can buy a cd new for about £10! Like your OH I still have all mine, hundreds! 
The 1st CD I purchased was The Cure… Staring At The Sea the singles paid £13:99 for it. Which at the time was the best price I found. Back in 1986…
E bay probably a fiver now…

Yes, they were bloody expensive and not much choice either, unless I went to Brum or got mail order imports! Shades in St Anne’s Court, London was a mecca for mail order imports! I actually made a trip to London especially to visit. Was mega disappointed to find it was literally a basement no bigger than a standard living room!
Could never give my cd’s away far too precious! Even now i buy a hard copy for the hi-fi, even though i rip them to phone and usb stick for car.

I still have a few vinyl, all my original Iron Maiden 7" picture sleeves, albums etc, mainly ones with fab artwork. Still have ELO Out of the Blue on blue vinyl!
