I’d never even heard of farming spiders until today! I’m tempted to look into this further but a bit afraid of what I’m going to find
Oh, please don’t look up spider rain then
Too late, I’ve already found it! Horrific!
It’s fine until milking time!
@Mint-Monster Please, no!
Some good news on spider rain is that apparently it’s mostly in places such as Australia and Brazil. Obviously not so good if you’re in one of those countries!
Not scared of spiders, but if i walk through an unseen web, oh my skin crawls!
I’ve done that more times than I care to mention! Once a massive garden spider got in my hair…I went berserk, running round the garden like a lunatic shaking my head about. That resulted in the spider falling down the front of my t shirt which I stripped off at lightening speed not caring if any of the neighbours saw The poor spider must have been more traumatised than me as it scuttled away
Ugh…no. I’d do the same
I once had a big spider try and crawl up on my lap like it thought it was an adorable kitten or something. I shot out the chair like a rocket, haha.
Oh my god! It’s weird, when these things happen how you kind of freeze for a few seconds, almost unable to believe it’s happening! I’ve always been scared of spiders, well I used to be petrified of them to be honest. Not quite so bad now , I’ve conquered my fear a bit and even though I’d rather not have them anywhere near me I won’t kill them. We’ve got ‘spider pots’ in every room of the house just in case a spider has to be evicted!
I’m an expert with a shot glass and a piece of card expelling spiders, bees, wasps and large moths safely outside!
I get the job of removing wasps and bees from the house while my OH runs into another room!
Speaking of spiders, I had a Facebook memory pop up yesterday of the time I got in the bath, ran my fingers through my hair, and there was a huge house spider now tangled up in there. I screamed, cried and stood naked and wet in the corner of the bathroom while my ex boyfriend rescued the spider that was now in the water No idea where my fear came from but that experience certainly didn’t help
I can’t get past ClungeSponge (which doesn’t count as written, but sounds like it does).
My husband uses old hummus pots, but the same method
As long as it’s humane and harmless!
ClungeToucher
Edit: Obviously that should have been ClungeHummus
Summer house looking good @Gazza_64!
Many thanks mate @WillC roof insulation and felt on today slowest day of the week lol but it’s 90% painted on the outside still a bit to do insulation under the floor electrian and internal painting to do yet
This sounds an impressive shed @Gazza_64 is it to become an home office? It sounds like you will get all year round use out of it.
