I’d never even heard of farming spiders until today! I’m tempted to look into this further but a bit afraid of what I’m going to find :open_mouth:

Oh, please don’t look up spider rain then :cold_sweat:

Some good news on spider rain is that apparently it’s mostly in places such as Australia and Brazil. Obviously not so good if you’re in one of those countries! :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve done that more times than I care to mention! Once a massive garden spider got in my hair…I went berserk, running round the garden like a lunatic shaking my head about. That resulted in the spider falling down the front of my t shirt which I stripped off at lightening speed not caring if any of the neighbours saw :joy: The poor spider must have been more traumatised than me as it scuttled away

Ugh…no. I’d do the same :scream:

I once had a big spider try and crawl up on my lap like it thought it was an adorable kitten or something. I shot out the chair like a rocket, haha.

Oh my god! :scream: It’s weird, when these things happen how you kind of freeze for a few seconds, almost unable to believe it’s happening! I’ve always been scared of spiders, well I used to be petrified of them to be honest. Not quite so bad now , I’ve conquered my fear a bit and even though I’d rather not have them anywhere near me I won’t kill them. We’ve got ‘spider pots’ in every room of the house just in case a spider has to be evicted! :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m an expert with a shot glass and a piece of card expelling spiders, bees, wasps and large moths safely outside! :slightly_smiling_face:

I get the job of removing wasps and bees from the house while my OH runs into another room! :slightly_smiling_face:

Speaking of spiders, I had a Facebook memory pop up yesterday of the time I got in the bath, ran my fingers through my hair, and there was a huge house spider now tangled up in there. I screamed, cried and stood naked and wet in the corner of the bathroom while my ex boyfriend rescued the spider that was now in the water :weary: No idea where my fear came from but that experience certainly didn’t help :joy:

I can’t get past ClungeSponge (which doesn’t count as written, but sounds like it does).
