Eee yes moths are vile too!
Not quite as bad as spiders but still make me shudder
Hahaha. Love it!
Thanks @Melody1
@Melody1 he is that tight he wouldnât give a door a bang
Boom , boom
Two beers in, Iâm liking the jokes
They always eat the most expensive stuff dont they.
Am I the only person who actually likes moths? They are awesome, check out the elephant hawk moth, they look so weird. We had some in our garden last year, the caterpillars look like mini snakes! (Just realised that probably isnât an attractive feature for a lot of people?! )
Nope, me too moth are so cool. Moon moths are so pretty and vital for our batts. I have always adored the patterns pepered moths display. As well as the hawk moth family (who doesnt love something with imitation owl eyes on its wings)
I just take exception to clothes moths eating my woolens
Yay! Another moth fan I get what you mean about the clothes though.
@Kitty-Cat01 it is to Mrs Elephant moth hun I have no grudge nor axe to grind with them
I love moths to look at - many of them are very beautiful - but Iâm not keen on having one fluttering around my bedroom making blind passes at my head. The best way I know to get one to leave is to switch off the room lights, open a window very wide and let nature take its course. Helps if itâs a bright moonlit night, but to be honest just streetlamps will do as a lure.
BTW⌠[engaging pedant mode]: With clothes moths, it isnât actually the adult moth that eats your fabrics. Its the larvae. [/pedant mode]
I quite like moths too really, unfortunately because of spiders my instinct upon seeing movement is squish 1st (especially now since as of today Iâve found out my reaction to spiders has got worse seeing as this 1 literally made me cry and refuse to be in my room for over an hour).
But yeah it general i actually quite like a fair few of the flying insects like bees, butterflies, moths, dragonflies etc (i actually delayed my walk home quite a bit yesterday just to help a bee - it was down and couldnât fly. I know those bees normally just need a rest but it was it the middle of the pavement so i coerced it towards a bush so it wouldnât get stood on).
Though i do not like things like flies (including the annoying little midgey things) and mosquitoes, even before my disease modules made me paranoid. Also not the biggest fan of wasps but will try to let those leave alive
@Ace12345 sounds very similar to me the other night. I cried, couldnât be in the room and, even now days later, every time I go to get into bed or even sit on it I do a full check for the big spider I saw. It really hasnât helped my fear. Totally know how youâre feeling!
Oh my life, it must be spider season I detest them! Has anyone noticed that theyâre sooo much bigger than they used to be? I nearly had a heart attack tonight, we was all in bed snuggling then outta the corner of me eye I seen summat dash across the bed - que me screaming and diving out. Hubby wakes up thinking heâs having a heart attack I scream fu####g spider n he kills the little shit, I say little but it was a good couple of inches which is little in comparison with the one preying on me from the kitchen wall the other day. What an ordeal, nowt worse than the little shits takin refuge in ya bed
Moths donât phase me at all i always attempt to safely throw them out but hubs hates and is terrified of them so our partnership works wonders I deal with moths n he deals with spiders, happy days
Iâm not overjoyed to have my clothes nibbled on but I actually like moths! Theyâre just night time butterflies!
@Alyssa646 spiders defo look bigger which is quite strange really unlike wagon wheels and all the vintage classic sweets which seem to have shrunk with age
Spiders are freaky, 8 legged nopes. I can just about handle the little ones but any beefy ones with hairs on their legs can sod off. I prefer the pint glass over them rather than the squishing approach, the thought of scraping up squished spider bits makes me heave!
Good Morning
Morning! Have a good day everyone
