The weather has calmed downed for a few days. Still very windy, but no rain. Yesterday was a mixture of sun and high cloud with a temperature of 19⁰, so felt very pleasant. Today is similar, but I’ve just read that another storm (Neo or Nia I think) is on the way for the western edge of Spain. Shouldn’t effect us much. Our local river is still running fast, but not high. One good thing, for our area at least, is that the underground aquifers are full and our reservoir is at 77% capacity. So, no drought for this year!

Yes we have 4, but one of those is a slightly shorter version of one of the others, so really 3 and thats all we have ever found under “Aunt Kathy”, don’t know what her real name is….. but a great girl …… Yep seems we are all experiencing rough weather at the present, now its getting colder here in uk……. take care all xxx

I was a latch key kid too, but in “the smoke” as it was known, countryside was just a rumour to us ….. but oh yes, those endless school holidays…. out running …. love xx

Oh its not really like that @steve19 back from an after lunch walk/prowl, trouble is I ended up being prowled, because I didn’t put a coat on (fooled by the look of the sun from inside the office) - you can imagine what the cold did ……… yes extremely nipply out there love xxxx
Against all odds I made it to 68 yesterday ! Been under the weather for about a week . For my birthday present to me , I drove to a butcher shop I heard had great meat . Oddly , the drive there was a road I had never been on . Even though it was raining , sleeting it was a beautiful drive . Bought several fillet of mignon and after I told them it was my birthday they gave me a package of smoked meat snacks .
Last evening I baked some potatoes and grilled the steaks , and had two of my favorite drinks . We had a great dinner and went down the rabbit hole of music videos on Youtube . Had a number of true friends text or call me . Just had a great 5 hours of sleep , pretty good for me . Hope I am on the mend .
