Yes @Mercyun didnt Joe shoot his Landlady in his studio/apartment and then shoot himself, I think thats right, and he used a shotgun I think that belonged to Heinz… anyway been back from the Prowl for a while, loads of talent out there, whatever your choice… I was hardpushed to keep me hands off but the thought of Pen and those tattooed snakes going up her thighs restrained me - just reread that, they are not tattooed snakes, but tattoos of snakes …silly cow
Yes, we are safe thank you. The big fire that is on the news, is in Almería, which is about 300 km along the coast from us. We live five mins from the beach and in a town, so any fires in the hills to the North, would never reach us. We do have the campo (the countryside) a bit further out and at the moment, many place are dead, tinder dry shrubs and a discarded cigarette could soon start things off!
Saw the fires on the news yesterday, so sad about the people dying and for the families as they had little remains Glad you are okay though and the cats as well
As I said in my earlier post, we are a short drive up into the campo where it is very, very dry now, so fires start easily. Being in the coast offers us plenty of protection, so we do not worry.
But, on the other hand, Mrs LC and I run and Animal Charity for abandoned and sick cats and dogs and a lot of them live on the land in the danger areas, so that is a worry for us. We have a “few” more rescue cats than you have, and on the whole, they get on ok, but we do have one “Tom” that thinks he’s the boss and picks on one of the smaller females, so we do have to intervene!
Miss Mira, I’m assuming by now that your talk/presentation has taken place and previously you said you were a bit anxious regarding it. Then you said you that based upon the group, the audience you had different things you could say.
How did it go? Were they receptive? Were you able to say all that you wanted to say? Or did you have to “tone” it down with them?
Ahh that’s such a good thing what you’re doing over there Yeah, I’m ready for a huge rant about people who have animals and then abandon them but i’m deciding to keep my gob shut for today they’re the ones who are missing out though because we get the rodent control for free don’t we! Keep them ratty tat tats away!
Andalucia looks absolutely stunning been there and probably never will be as with my FND I don’t travel well at all but we watch a British couple in Andalucia on YouTube who do a lot of travelling around there and exploring and it looks stunning! Didn’t realise Spain was so hilly/mountainous?
Thanks again @Hannahnim for your kind words. Yes, it’s true, we never have a rodent problem. Sometimes, we may get a cockroach venture onto our terrace. Unfortunately, with the pussies out there, the 'roach is dispatched in no time. Initially they see it as a plaything, then it’s in pieces!!
We do have two cats that live on our Community too and they are tolerated by the owners as they see the benefits of having a rodent free garden.
It does annoy us immensely with the way some people’s attitudes are here toward animals. They will abandon them at the drop of a hat and it makes our job so hard. Since Brexit, we don’t have the Brits here that would foster or adopt, so it’s always a struggle.
Sorry, I didn’t know what FND was, so had to look it up. Poor you. I hope it doesn’t affect you too much
Getting very geological here… We have the hills and the mountains where we live because the African Tectonic Plate is heading North and pushing under the European Plate. This pushes the land mass up, causing the mountains. We get mini earthquakes quite regularly. We have only ever felt one, but all the rest go unnoticed.
I don’t think it’s the start of a career @steve19 , but it is something I’ll probably do occasionally, in the right circumstances. I enjoyed it too much to walk away now!
The audience for the one specifically about Free Use was a group of people who knew someone else there, so they were chains of friends, all seriously considering adding an element of Free Use into their lifestyle.
The second one was an established group that have talks about sexual topics once every couple of months, and I was one of five people talking about spanking, then a round table discussion.
How I got them? It’s been a long time getting organised, as I wanted to be safe and comfortable, but fundamentally, they made a proposal. I’ve said no to some before, but these two were good and worth a go.
I’ve done two of them so far and they went very well @HermanHuge . It was all about the prep, feeling safe and comfortable with the setup. I didn’t have to tone anything down in either case, which was brilliant, (the audiences were exactly as the organisers described) and a friend helped me to make them more of a show than a dry powerpoint presentation.
So, as well as being explicit, naughty and true to myself, I was also informative (so I’ve been told) and managed to get over the good points and bad, whilst making it a good show.
One more to go next week, all about kink play that isn’t BDSM (tight remit for that one). But I am confident now I can work the audience and make it a worthwhile use of an evening for them, which is what I was nervous about.
I’ve just woken up as well! Bit groggy cause the cat woke me up at four in a major scrap last night as we had a whiskered burglar enter through the window that feeling when you wake up more tired then you were when you went to sleep
@Hannahnim ohh no! I know the groggy feeling. Currently contemplating a shower session only trouble is everyone’s home! Hoping the noise of all the fans cancels out what’s going on and the bathroom locks broke do I risk it
We have pussies too @Hannahnim so I know the feeling only too well. One woke me up at just after 02:00 this morning and wouldn’t settle, so I feel the same as you right now!
yeah we got three rescue cats, the two we inherited from my uncle when he died and they are boys and the other one is a female tabby that was starving at my sisters house. She had two rescue cats already and couldn’t take them on, so we had had her and she is my favourite. But because they all don’t get on, she is a house cat and they are outside and it’s like a constant battle trying to keep them all separated and then she kept being beaten up by the cat over the road so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s trying to get in through the window. I think that’s what she was making a big deal about. But yeah, cat drama…
