Canal boat tour is good.
Ann frank museum
Walk about red light district is always a chuckle
There are art museums i cant mind, renbrand? & van gogh (spelling on them) i think they are.
Some shows are on in the red light district which, if you can get in are good fun.

There was, not sure if it’s still there, a 3D glow in the dark mini golf course. It was downstairs in a pub and a good giggle

The Sex Museum.

(If you do plan on the Ann Frank house, which is just incredible, prebook or get there insanely early to queue is my advice :+1:t2:)

Apart from the obvious, red light district, sex museum, there are parks, the Rijksmuseum is well worth a visit.

As others have mentioned pre book if you want to see Anne Franks’ house else you will be queuing for hours.

Consider a canal boat trip with food, such as beer and a pizza.

We did Amsterdam last year and I have to say it was one of my favourite cities.

If you’re after something a little different, check out the A’dam Lookout. We did it and enjoyed.

Also, check out a peep show. Again did this with the OH. You go into a little both, put a few coins in the machine and find yourself face to face with a stripper. More touristy than sexy but still good fun. There’s a few in the red light district.

We didn’t do a boat tour, but wish we had.

There’s loads to do. You’ll have a great time.

It’s a few years since we’ve been, but the thing that always comes to mind when we remember Amsterdam (apart from watching a live sex show) is visiting Sauna Deco. It’s a really cool spa, and a proper one too, in that swimwear is not allowed. Neither is contact between couples (it’s not for swingers).

If you have never tried naturism but are thinking of giving it a go, we can’t think of a better way to try public nudity for the first time. You’ll love it.

Thank you everyone. Picked up a few ideas and the memo to book Anne Frank museum. Not too many regrets. Anyone tried Moulin Rouge or Casa Rosso? Mixed reviews in TA

Casa Rosso is so, so. It has been a while, but it was a live sex show on a revolving platform, when last visited.

This is one of my favourite city’s I have been more times than I can remember at one stage I was going every couple a months, depends what you won’t to do if you are planning on just floating around there is a few nice places to poter around but if you won’t to do all the tourist stuff, i recommend looking at getting an (i Amsterdam card) gives you free access to most of the museums and no queuing because you have a ticket and free public transport very cost effective way to do it, with them costing around £50 a day i think but one museum can set you back that alone! And food one of my favourite restaurants mr porters it is out of this world when it comes to steak all dry aged , but like anything in Amsterdam be prepared to pay for it :man_shrugging: not the cheapest place in the world but as I said I use to go all the time loved it the people are amazing and the way the place just gets on with stuff no health an safety if they are working on the block paving they literally just crack on no road closed no fences you literally step over/around them
